    Fine looking young-un!

    It looks like his milk carton is similar to the juice boxes my granddaughters had, where you punch the straw through the little foil circle. How easy, and convenient, and less likely to spill!

    Why, when I was a boy, they gave us these waxed paper cartons. You had to get the spout to open yourself and for some reason the design was such that half the time it was a battle. Then you could put your straw in. And if an accident should occur, milk went everywhere.

    Plus the little half-pints of milk they would serve us in schools were barely cool. Even in the winter when they could just put the big metal rolly-thing outside, they didn’t. It’s a wonder we all didn’t die of milk-borne diseases.

    And if we wanted to know something, we had to go to the library to look it up!
