ROAD TRIP!

With little advance warning, I have decided to hit the road today, bound for New Orleans and the Republican Leadership Conference:

Republicans who can’t wait for an advance preview of the 2016 GOP presidential primary campaign should mark the last weekend in May on their calendars and book their flights for New Orleans, site of the 2014 Republican Leadership Conference. Among the names already announced for the three-day event are Texas. Sen. Ted Cruz, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, Tennesssee Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Florida Rep. Allen West, businessman Donald Trump and Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

Tonight I’ll be in Atlanta and tomorrow will traverse Alabama and Mississippi.

    Speaking of deer, my Grand Daughter hit one a couple of nights ago on her way home from work. Don’t know what happened to the deer, but it left some flesh and hair all over the side and grill of the SUV. She’s okay, but the car is totaled…still drivable, but cost more than it’s worth to fix it.

    Hooked a chain to a tree and the bumper to pull it away from the tire.

    Poor kid…had her license for less than a year and already has a speeding ticket and one totaled vehicle.
