Conservative Intel sponsored the poll.


And Senator Ted Cruz is the winner!
Further results:

1. Ted Cruz — 30.33 percent
2. Ben Carson — 29.38 percent
3. Rand Paul — 10.43 percent

Senator Rand Paul had won the last straw poll, in March.
Looking further down the report, blog favorite Allen West placed:

10. Paul Ryan — 2.05 percent
11. Allen West (write-in) — 2.05 percent

Interestingly, Governor Scott Walker was flying below the radar. One hopes the GOP capitalizes on this energy.

    Damn good point. Helps add to the billy-goat vibrato, and the shouted first line aspect.

    Cartman got some of the billy-goat thing happnin’, but he missed the shouted first line.
