Feminism’s Anti-Male Double Standard
Posted on | July 2, 2016 | 32 Comments
A consistent theme of feminist discourse for more than 40 years is a completely negative portrayal of male sexuality. Feminists are united in the opinion that whatever men do in regard to sex is always 100% wrong. Male attraction to women is condemned in feminist rhetoric as “objectification.” If a man admires a woman’s beauty, he has thereby degraded her as a “sex object,” according to feminist theory. If a man verbalizes his interest in a woman, feminists denounce this as “harassment,” and if he expresses his interest in a woman by any physical action — a kiss or a hug — feminists consider this sexual assault. Of course, feminists consider heterosexual intercourse to be inherently oppressive, a violent act of male domination — “PIV is always rape, OK?”
“Men are the enemy. Heterosexual women are collaborators with the enemy. . . .
“We see heterosexuality as an institution of male domination, not a free expression of personal preference.”
— Leeds Revolutionary Feminists, 1981
“Men affirm male superiority through use of the penis as a weapon against the female. . . .
“Because men want women’s sexual services for themselves only . . . men make women’s heterosexuality compulsory.”
— Dee Graham, et al., Loving to Survive: Sexual Terror, Men’s Violence, and Women’s Lives (1994)
“Far from being ‘natural,’ phallic sexuality is a moral and political activity. . . . Men’s sexual behaviour is not caused by hormonal dictates. . . . Anything and everything must be subordinated to penile activity if men are to be what phallic ideology requires them to be.”
— Denise Thompson, Radical Feminism Today (2001)
Paranoid hostility toward male sexuality (“Fear and Loathing of the Penis”) has defined the feminist agenda for decades, and anyone who criticizes feminism’s anti-male hate propaganda will be accused of “misogyny” — you obviously hate women if you don’t agree with feminist assertions about the universal evil of men. A 26-year-old lesbian feminist wrote the following on her Tumblr blog:
I think there is an interesting phenomenon growing up as a lesbian (which I jokingly refer to as the Be\Bang Dichotomy) where you’re not sure if you greatly admire a woman and want to be like them or if you have a huge crush on someone.
I think it’s interesting because the idea of admiring and respecting a woman and wanting to be her romantic and sexual partner are seen, within a heteronormative society, as conflicting ideals.
If respect is seen as tainted by sexual desire, there is something wrong with the way we frame sexual desire.
I think it’s another difference in lesbian attraction that makes it harder to understand our attractions and also contributes to internalized lesbophobia. If our attraction is seen as antithetical to our respect, admiration, and idolization of female accomplishment, it is hard to hold the two concepts together or recognize them happening in concert.
What? Who says a man cannot respect a woman he finds desirable as a “romantic and sexual partner”? In whose mind is “respect . . . tainted by sexual desire”? Oh, that’s right — it’s feminists who say this!
For decades, feminists have been reiterating the same two points:
- All males are intellectually inferior — Men are incapable of reason, and thus cannot grasp the distinction between women’s specifically sexual attributes and women’s other qualities. Only feminists are endowed with the superior intellect necessary to understand anything at all about women, and whatever a man might believe about women is always wrong because, of course, he is a man, and men are always wrong about everything.
- Male sexuality is intrinsically immoral — It is wrong for men to want sex, and wrong for men to enjoy sex. Feminism is a movement to eliminate every possible source of male happiness in life, especially including sex.
This is why feminists consider it “harassment” for men to flirt with women. Flirting with women might lead to sex, and sex makes men happy, therefore feminists insist flirting is a civil-rights violation. Men cannot even look at women without being guilty of sexist “objectification,” according to feminism, because looking at women makes men happy.
Why do you think Vogue magazine put Amy Schumer on the cover of its July issue? Isn’t it because men don’t like Amy Schumer? The same reason Glamour magazine put Lena Dunham on its April 2014 cover?
Why did fashion magazines decide that beauty is a bad thing? It’s because feminists took over as fashion magazine editors. So now it’s “fashion” to be ugly like Lena Dunham and “fashion” to be fat like Amy Schumer.
Remember: “Men are the enemy.”
Feminists do not collaborate with the enemy. Why would men want to collaborate with feminists? This is a profound mystery. It’s like when Lena Dunham said she is heterosexual. How? Why? With whom? Has any man actually gone public and admitted having sex with Lena Dunham?
But we are not allowed to ask such questions, nor are we permitted to notice that fashion magazines are now promoting a political agenda.
There is a double standard in operation, whereby feminists arrogate to themselves the right to demonize men, and men are not allowed to say anything in defense of themselves. Feminism is a synonym for shut up.

2 points: of all the famous lesbians in the show biz, almost all of them sooner or later admit to having been sexually molested by men when they were young or later in life. It is easy to assume that the very few ones who haven’t admitted to being molested are probably suppressing the memory. My theory is that all women who have problems with male anatomy and/or personality have had some trauma in the past. Lesbianism should not be considered a normal state of being because it is directly connected with some past trauma. Second point: if lesbians are so ok with no-penis, why all of them buy plastic dildos? (again I gather this information from the multitude of mainstream TV shows on the topic). Lesbianism is just a pose and a mental illness.

Sounds like feminism started where Catholic school left off…
(Though even St. Paul said that it was better to marry than to burn.)

These ugly women hate dick because they never got any. Meh, given that most of feminism is ugly chicks, I figure their man-induced trauma was related to the lack of interest men showed toward them from an early age. Small percentages are molested. The trauma the uglies experienced stemmed from never having a boyfriend, no guy-pals, no boy wanting to sit next to them from the 2nd grade onward. Of course, the other girls shunned them too, girls being the catty beings they are from birth. Having raised a child, I can tell you from seeing them in action that no woman experiences any social cruelty worse than that inflicted by young girls, when they were children, merely for being ugly and outside the click. Fast forward to school dances and not being asked to dance up to High School and the ultimate insult by men, no date to the prom.
So of course the ugly women hate men, they hate men for not loving them. And so, they flip it. Since they can’t acquire romantic love from men anyway, it becomes convenient to denigrate romantic love, to brand it rape, to complain endlessly about men. And why? Because men left them essentially alone. As stated in the article, search high and low, WHO are the men that admit to having sex with a Lena or Amy or dozens of others, not to mention all those haters at the top? The aforementioned uglies HAD no men, no love and in spite of protestations to the contrary, no children, and boy are they pissed at men for THAT. And so was invented Women’s Lib, the crushing of men that wanted nothing to do with them anyway. Uglies. All we do is leave you alone, what more do you want?

Correct. Face it, the entire alphabet soup of sexual depravity is a class of mental illness with many subsets. Perhaps the sheer numbers of subsets builds their base and case, who knows? All I know is, the Alphabet Soup of Sexual Depravity (ASSD, if you will) is almost out of letters to stir into the broth. I figure animal “lovers” and pedophiles are next to be added to the broth of acceptence. Thankfully, they don’t breed.

The thing is, feminists are half right about male sexual desire and respect. There is a mode of male sexuality in which the two are mutually exclusive. This is when a guy is just looking to get laid and move on. All men have this impulse to some degree or other. Decent men suppress it. Now, feminists being leftists probably run in leftist circles, and what kind of guys are they going to meet? Other leftists, who do not tend to be decent men. Hence, their beliefs about male sexuality.

Paul also said that marriage is honorable. Of course, feministas disagree.

The correlation between childhood abuse and adult homosexuality is “non-zero,” as they say. In other words, there is some correlation but at the same time (a) most gay people are not abuse survivors, and (b) most abuse survivors are not gay.
In reading first-person accounts, a variety of patterns emerge — there is no one-size-fits-all explanation of why women are lesbians — but in general, you find a childhood sense of being “different,” a misfit, and also at odds with normal gender roles. This is the major connection between feminism and lesbianism, the dissatisfaction with what it means to be a woman.
As I say, feminism is a War Against Human Nature, a rebellion against the biological facts of life, and sexuality is at the heart of it. Even among heterosexual feminists this same theme comes through. Feminists are good at using buzzwords, at generalizing their personal issues by speaking of “society” and “culture” when in fact what they mean is, MEN. They can’t relate to men in normal ways and view men as rivals rather than as potential partners, and this resentment poisons their lives.

“(a) most gay people are not abuse survivors, and (b) most abuse survivors are not gay”
remember that according to stats some people that received abuse tend to remove it from memory. About your point B, I once recall an expert of childhood abuse (any abuse) that told me he has seen both paths: the child from an alcoholic household that does not drink at all all his life and another child that becomes an alcoholic too following the example of the family. Same thing can be said of molested children. One might follow the path of the molester becoming a child molester himself or a gay person, the other refutes all of that entirely.
Your assumption A is a personal opinion. All the lesbians coming out in recent years (ellen, the actress from top gun, lena dunham’s sister, Cher’s daughter) have had some sort of sexual abuse (or beatings, mistreatment).
Again, someone might have been abused and not remember the act.

Unless it is “gay marriage.” Then it’s to be celebrated by perverts in speedos on floats.

Speaking with therapists that should know, they have told me that almost every homosexual they have dealt with had some trigger in childhood. For the overwhelming majority of them it was sexual abuse.
By the by, I refuse to call them “gay.” Just as the term “gender” should be avoided in the way the left uses it, we should avoid the term the homosexuals themselves love so as to make it seem all normal and acceptable. It is neither, and never will be.

The sad thing is that almost every woman that wanted to get married, did. She simply has to be realistic about what sort she can get, just as guys have to be realistic about what they can get.

Human nature doesnt change but cultural norms do change and can either promote or suppress some natural urges. Old standards are collapsing and women are now freerer to indulge their desires without the social cost it once carried. Many women are now more assertive about their sexual needs and want no strings attached “get laid and move on” sex. I think you’re a few decades behind the times. I work closely with families across the SES and see this up close in my work in the mental health field. Not a scientific study but readily apparent to me.

If the difference between how men and women think about sex had changed so entirely, we would not be seeing the current lo-o-o-ovely trend of “regret rape” charges on college campuses.

July 3rd, 2016 @ 8:47 pm
Much of what we are seeing is the result of the fact that the way women think about sex hasn’t changed. What has changed is the men those feministas want are not the decent men, so they get used, and then scream bloody murder because of it.

I suspect you like to troll
July 4th, 2016 @ 2:18 am
exactly, I do not understand why there is some resistance even here. I have noticed that it all comes down to conformity and the latest fashion trend. It seems that if you drop some modern terminology such as transgender among peers you look more knowledgeable and ‘intelligent’, this is the only reason why people conform, for poor brains it is the only way to ‘shine’.
