First of all, apologies for punting the Friday link dump; I fixed a large bowl of pasta for dinner and fell into a carbohydrate coma after finishing maybe a third of it.
The draft for the 1973 season in Pete’s league started today, and since I was the best of the worst teams in the league, I got to pick fifth. And I got some goodies.

And there are plenty of decent candidates to fill the backup fielder roles, to say nothing of the bullpen. The informal draft continues through the week, and the timed draft resumes Saturday. I have a good feeling about the season already.
