Rob Kroese could use some help. Buy some books.
This week the Senators got their asses kicked good and hard. First we got swept by the Angels, thanks to two bullpen implosions and bad starts from Joe Coleman and Spaceman Lee, and then we went to the Polo Grounds to face the Yankees, who took two games out of three behind Bruce Kison and Wilbur Wood. So here we sit at 41-54, two and a half behind the A’s, and looking at another thrashing on Tuesday from the Reds, who swept us in the first series we played.
