FMJRA 2.0: Better Than Expected

A good week for Senators fans, even though travel and work compelled me to play the Tuesday series against the Angels on Wednesday and the Friday series against the Hated Yankees tonight. I had been expecting a disastrous wipeout against the top two teams in the Alpha Division of the AL, but instead we took two out of three from the Angels at RFK and split the two games against the Hated Yankees at the Polo Grounds despite not hitting a single homer. We end the week 57-62, eight games behind the Twins and four games ahead of the Brewers. Next week we’ll be facing the Red Sox at Fenway and then have two games against the Angels at Anaheim; we’re 5-4 against the Bosox, so I’m hoping for another week like this one.
