Talk Radio Host Punks Abortion Clinic

Posted on | July 12, 2010 | 21 Comments

In order to drown out pro-life “sidewalk counselors” outside, the owner of  Northern Illinois Women’s Center in Rockford was blaring WNTA-AM 1330 through loudspeakers. Kathleen Gilbert tells the rest of the story:

D.J. Doug McDuff’s scheduled talk show guest cancelled, and he opened the phone lines for comment.
Seeing his chance, Rockford pro-life veteran Kevin Rilott whipped out his cell phone and was on air within seconds, loud and clear outside the abortion centre where he was standing. Rilott took the opportunity to explain to McDuff and his listeners how the radio station, WNTA, was being used to silence pro-lifers’ attempt to help mothers in need.
McDuff, none too pleased, decided to take matters into his own hands. “God bless pro-lifers! God bless pro-lifers! God bless pro-lifers!” the D.J. shouted. . . .
The D.J. then gave Rilott airtime to explain how those who keep vigil outside the Rockford mill come “to offer love, help, and hope to mothers in need,” and to request prayer for mothers in need and an end to abortion. . . .

Read the rest. Evidently, the clinic owner really hates Christians:

“For years at this abortion mill we have seen a steady stream of vicious personal attacks, hatred for God, bigotry, racism, ridiculing people with HIV, and mocking of human life displayed in the windows of a so-called medical facility,” said Rockford pro-life advocate George Lambert.
Lambert lamented that “the local Rockford paper refuses to report about these attacks and our city council remains silent.”

    Demonic.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Reason number #348,342,435,245,253,000 why I detest the rabid religious right in this Country.

“Every good Christian ought to kick Falwell right in the ass” — Senator Barry Goldwater

If these goody-two shoe Christians spent as much damned time trying to “Save the World” as they did trying to be Nazi fascists. Maybe the World would be a better damned place.

You want to end Abortion? Go to the damned STATES and effect change there. Keep it out of the damned Federal Level.

This is the worst damned legacy of the Reagan Administration; giving these two-bit Bible thumping whack jobs a place at the table. Of whom a good 99% of them are nothing more than two-bit hypocrites, the rest of them are nothing more than hustle scam artists. Believe you me; I know, I was involved in the so-called “Church World” for a good part of my young and not-so-young life. It’ sickening, how these idiots preach one thing and live another…

Abortion is a STATE ISSUE and NOT a Federal one! PERIOD!

I’m sorry, but you cannot talk out of both sides of your mouth. Either you want SMALL Government, or you want BIG Government! You CANNOT have it both ways, and that is what these Bible-thumping pro-lifers want.

Sorry, but this is a damned hot button issue with me.

    2. Seriously…what use would an abortion clinic have for a chainsaw? They’re not using that thing as a surgical instrument, are they?
    3. Actually, under the current state of play, abortion actually is a federal matter. Roe v. Wade. Get to know it.

I think the simple matter is that Pro-life people see Abortion as murder. Murder is a federal crime. That’s pretty straightforward I think. If you knew of a place that regularly brought in 2 living people and only one walked out alive, wouldn’t you protest to have that Thunderdome closed?

You want the states to decide on abortion? Necessary then is to repeal Roe, which would then turn abortion back to the states.

Remember, the Obama administration just had DOMA overturned because it overrode the states’ right to define marriage. But seeing as many states’ laws would prohibit abortion if Roe were overturned, the same won’t happen with abortion.

On the state level, our hands are tied until Roe is repealed.

Also, for what it’s worth, abortion’s killed more people than the “rabid religious right” in this country. 50 million and counting.

God bless these people who stand and fight for the unborn. The video of the abortuary (what a great word!)is sickening. I hope they continue with their ridiculous signs etc. it seems to finally offend people enough that they at least walk out of there and possibly reconsider the having the killing of their child done. while I’m not a religous person, abortion is wrong, and is murder! nough said
