If You Don’t Like Slut As A Title For Sandra Fluke, How About Czar?

by Smitty

In the annals of sluttiness, the Sandra Fluke story is some form of higher-order prostitution. Let’s call it politics. Some don’t like calling the woman a slut. Concur.

  • Her sexuality really should be a private matter, irrespective of her insistence on making it public. That goes both for media and funding.
  • The point at hand is really far greater than the number of men/women/who_knows? that have used Fluke like a trampoline.

I, for one, rejoice that Limbaugh decided to punt on the hunt for a term more blunt to describe this runt and her risible stunt. Likely a criticism shunt.

Director Blue gets at that pesky reality swirling in the distance, away from Fluke:

Meanwhile, Iran still is moving ahead with their plans for nuclear terrorism, gas prices are poised to hit $5/gal. and real inflation is moving toward 10%. And Obama wants free contraceptives. Happy to see that Democrats have their heads screwed on straight.

Also, the President’s budget, again, is a turd, while Harry Reid’s constipation rages and he won’t even leave one. The deficit is about to wrap around the moon. &c, &c, &c.

This entire contraception debate is a twofer: it both destroys and distracts. When you understand that the Administration is purely about destroying this country, all of this idiocy comes into diabolical focus.

What will Sandra Fluke’s Czar title be in the next Obama Administration? I like Postmodern Absurd Distraction Czar. Your suggestions in the comments.

Update: linked at The Conservatory. Jonas Brother? I was think more Andrew Ian Dodge, myself, not to make light of a serious Senate candidate. At least the Maine-iacs won’t be eating any more yellow Snowe.

What I find darkly humorous is a Georgetown law student bemoaning the choice between contraceptives and food/education.
Pretty sure if you can afford Georgetown, you can afford the pill or at least condoms…and afford to eat pretty well too.

All of those people that have trashed Rush Limbaugh for calling a spade a spade. He spoke the truth and he got excoriated for it. Well, now that he is being vindicated, will we get any apologies from those that did that? Probably not.

It is really getting tiresome to see all of the headlines about this. As you said, it is distracting from the real issues at hand. You can be sure of one thing. President Obama is going to milk this for all Ira worth. The longer he does, the longer he can keep the real news out of the headlines.

This is real news. This is more of the left trying to force their social ideology on all Americans through the universities, mainstream media, courts, and government. Actually, they would prefer you focus on the economy. They and their media toadies can always blame it on Bush when things go bad and insist we need more, not less, government involvement. And the more government control we get over the economy, the more we get over every other area of life, this story being just one example of which people need to be aware.

Or don’t you think its relevant that universities, hospitals, charities, and insurance providers are being forced to offer contraceptive coverage whether they want to or not? Do you think the founders would have been all right with that?

What do you think they would have been more concerned with, government forcing American businesses to sell or not to sell a product at a certain mandated price, or the unemployment rate?

“Slut” is nowhere near as insulting as “electable.” They both mean the same thing but at least the four-letter one is less likely to do it in front of the entire country.

I beg to differ, but with a caveat: it is only worthwhile if the object of one’s lust is also the object of one’s love (which kinda precludes the multiple partner or friendly acquaintance thing).

This of course also sets the stage for not being let down when age and infirmity (or stress, lack of time, whatever) makes such feats no longer possible.

In short, sexual relations within a committed pair bond (which usually means marriage in most human societies)…it’s outstanding; people should try it more.
