Is This the Hope or the Change?

Since Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, the number of Americans on food stamps has increased from 32 million to 44 million. Restaurants are contemplating price increases due to the sharp rise in grocery prices. And crude oil prices are near $108 per barrel, the highest since September 2008. Cue Peggy Joseph:

UPDATE: “The Scary-Ass Charts of the Day,” says Ed Driscoll, who quotes The Lonely Conservative:

“Frances Fox Piven must look at graphs like this one and jump for joy. Just look at how many Americans are now dependent on the government for subsistence. Boy, it’s like it was by design or something.”

Peggy is probably selling her food stamps to pay for her gas and mortgage.

I wouldn’t mind if Obama paid for Peggy’s gas and mortgage….out of his own pocket. The problem is that he wants to pay for her gas and mortgage out of MY pocket. Among others.

What amazes me about the overwhelm the systems strategies is the assumption that there will be an economy left to tax and redistribute after the crashes.
I’ve seen that clip many times, has anyone ever done a followup interview with her?

This is what we’ve got to be afraid of.

And I’ve worked with people who think that getting as much money off the government is their god-given right. What’s going to happen when it runs out?

It won’t run out, they’ll just increase taxes on hard working Americans to continue to pacify the scumbags like Peggy Joseph! It will only stop when the working people stand up and take back this country and let these useless, non-contributers STARVE!
