7,000,000 Hits, 7-Minute Blogs

MAZAR-I-SHARIF, AFGHANISTAN — Fourth of July. My seventh wedding anniversary. Seven mega-hits on the blog. They managed to figure out the proxy settings so that I can put up a proper post. Woo hoo!

In this recent mobile planning meeting, we see Stacy McCain, the passenger, discuss the importance of the number seven for a revenue generating idea he has for the blog. Wombat, the driver, tries to comprehend the brilliance on display. (Caution: F-bomb at the end):

By the Power of Kindle, I’m enjoying Toll’s Six Frigates. Don’t let my squid bias put you off: this is something every American should read. The details of the politics at the Founding differ from the politics of today less than you might think. Human nature is constant, after all. Technology is the variable, and that mostly affects the time involved for events to unfold.

The Ruling Class in the United States today is as foreign to the ideal of liberty as the Brititsh Parliament was in the time of the Founders. Blogs and their readers are going to drive the emancipation of Americans from the Progressive overlords.
Happy 4th of July, all you right wing extremists!

And thanks to “A Point of View” for a wonderful extended review.

Long may Stacy and Smitty reign and rain down on enemies left and center.

I’d say “read the whole thing”, but that would be self-serving.

UPDATE (RSM): Here are the details of visitor 7,000,000, who lives in California, uses a Safari browser, and clicked onto the site at precisely 3:43:13 p.m. PDT (6:43:13 p.m. EDT):

Smitty laments (in the above blog post):

The Ruling Class in the United States today is as foreign to the ideal of liberty as the Brititsh Parliament was in the time of the Founders. Blogs and their readers are going to drive the emancipation of Americans from the Progressive overlords.

Indeed, but don’t blame the left, the progressives and “the center” alone. You “right wing extremists” can have fun, but who is laughing is of course dependent on the type of government one condones. A socialist is definitely laughing because they want to have no responsibility. A socialistic government is labelled as “responsible” for all the care of its citizens, thereby relinquishing personal responsibility and giving a type of “freedom” to the people…freedom of not being responsible for themselves.

On the other hand, those NOT laughing see the danger of large, unchecked government with its hands into everything. The USA is a constitutional republic…the constitution has been raped by the socialistic seeking people…and then they look in amazement at how fascist we have become.

The reason the US has become fascist is because the government is not only allowed, but encouraged, to take over various areas (education, health) which in turn gives the government more & more power.

It is a catch-22…the people who cry the most against corrupt government are the same people who want to relinquish responsibility and pass it on to the government…thereby encouraging government corruption.

It is no surprise at how far the US Govt has moved in this direction under Bush. Religious love to be dependent something else…they have their religion to take care of their afterlife needs and the government to take care of their current needs.

The Republicans have bought into this in order to keep their religious constituents. The Democrats, of course, are the same minus the religious hangups. The Democrats attract the citizens on government programs that want these programs to continue to grow.

In the USA, the government, by constitution, is really suppose to be limited to national defense.

    Oh how we have strayed.

I applaud when health bills are defeated. I applaud when communities are responsible for themselves. That is NOT to say that I would not help…but I want the decision to help to be mine, and not a corrupt government who will take as many of my hard earned dollars as possible in taxation.

Ask the Canadians…is the health plan in Canada really the utopia that is being preached to us down yonder? From personal experience with freinds who live in Canada…I think not. In Canada one can get a diagnosis very quickly, but then the wait begins for treatment…with people dying before treatment is made…and it is illegal to offer to personally pay upfront in order to get ahead in the line. Some great plan.

So laugh all you want…I cry each time the government slips under the wire to take over another aspect of the citizen’s life.

I comment from my phone.  What’s your problem?

Well, whoever #7000000 is, he apparently has the place bookmarked.  Or phonemarked.  Or whatever.

  • http://thatmrgguy.wordpress.com/ Mike

Anamika actually made a post that made sense and should be applauded instead of denigrated. ;)

  • Joe Detweiler

Zero stinking seconds. Must have gone straight to the tip jar….

  • Norman Invasion

It’s a phone.  What the hell are people using phones to type with?  A phone?  Y’all are nuts.  Next you’ll be on about taking pictures with a phone or something else equally absurd.

  • Norman Invasion

I think someone got crabs in their phone.

The Blogosphere is within your grasp, gentlemen.  The plan proceeds apace.  The blood, thunder, and hammer of the gods are your weapons.

    Onward to hegemony!

Well the celebrations of Stacy, Smitty, and Wombat may be marred by your report, Richard, at least they haven’t been Bill Maher’d, which would involved some painful shots afterwards.

I suspect one of her sock puppets has taken on a personality of its own and now seeks revenge for the constant abuse. Anamika always struck me as something of a schizo.

I’ve long suspected the gigi rents out spare personalities.
