What an Awesome Computer!

Posted on | August 23, 2011 | 7 Comments

A couple days ago, one of our readers bought an ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-B1 10.1-Inch Tablet Computer, an Android device that sells for $459.44 via our Amazon Associates link, along with a compatible $125.21 Keyboard Docking Station, thus kicking a sweet $23.39 commission my way. We also sold a Hamilton Beach 48464 Brewstation Summit 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker ($47.99, a $1.92 commission) and an Orbeli & Proache 500-thread-count organic Egyptian cotton bedsheet ($39.95, a $1.60 commission).

They sell everything at Amazon, and as long as you shop through the links here, I get a 4% commission on the total sale. It’s a great way to support the blog and get great bargains at the same time.

We’re still hoping one of those right-wing billionaires will buy that $120,000 7-carat diamond ring, but I’m grateful for every sale, as are the devastated young earthquake victims.

    Should read, “paid.”

Too bad ToM/Disqus doesn’t have the  comment edit feature enabled for guest commenters. LGF just introduced such a feature for everyone who is allowed to post a comment  — a registered user– on their site. Way to go Charles Johnson!

Yellow card – not for mentioning Charles Johnson, but for not being witty enough to post AS Charles Johnson.

not being witty enough to post AS Charles Johnson.

    Hiya…

I haven’t paid much attention to the context here, my apologies, my (wishful thinking, I’m sure!) policy regarding the internet having always been to be as anonymous as possible — we don’t even bank online, which is tiresome, and not due to technophobia, after all we bank online for the community organisation all the time and know how easy it is… my point being we never see “security” as possible and therefore are less likely to be ripped off.

My OTHER point being that I notice the mopping up of spills that lovely Wombat Socho does all the time, in my mind’s eye there is gingham check involved, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Thank you Wombat for the thankless, tedious cleaning up that you do all the time so as to make this space an inhabitable space for us, and all TOMfoolers.

    Wombat  is truly great.

Not only does he help us harmonize all our relationships, even the ones that have proven most difficult to harmonize in the past, but he also visits other people’s blogs to encourage them to post more shit.

On behalf of all LGFers, I want to thank you from the bottom of our fathomless, but not unfathomable hearts.

    Wombat’s witticism inspired us.

And Stacy, your wholly beneficial qualities and activities continue to rouse us to greater and greater Himalayan heights of piling up vast mounds of totally pure partisan drivel and utterly timelessly free bullshit.

    Please come again.

In fact, they are already starting to talk about and mythologize Stacy’s Second Coming.

Let not this generation pass away until that Second Coming crap has been fulfilled.
