Is BHO Crazy Like A Fox?

Looking at the “Lincoln founded the GOP” kerfuffle, one is tempted to wonder if the verbal gaffes aren’t intended as a distraction.

Gunwalker and Solyndra really should be even bigger deals than they are; nothing short of a thorough investigation is enough for these scandals.

And, sure, the Lincoln gaffe is another brick in the wall of the Mainstream Media Mausoleum. After the Sarah Palin/Paul Revere history lesson, we’re reminding ourselves that, sure enough propaganda reigns in the Lefty mind, both when attempting to shred good people and cover for those who may not be so good.

In the final analysis, it is irrelevant whether the guy who won’t release his college transcripts is a dunce, or playing one at taxpayer’s expense.  It doesn’t matter if this is some effort to distract attention from the real problems of how we

  • de-scope the federal government,
  • re-invigorate the private sector economy, and
  • articulate to the American people that entitlements are a mirage from which we all need to divorce ourselves as gracefully as possible.

That’s just the beginnings of the list of things that demand our attention. BHO’s non-grasp of history? Worth noting in passing, maybe.

PBS has deleted the “gaffe” from it’s transcript of the speech.

BLUF: the gaffe is a distraction that will be used to promote the perception of fairness in MSM reporting.

Meanwhile, Gunwalker and Grenadewalker provided the weapons to hunt down Walker, Texas Ranger, and anyone in the CBP. Who profits?

Yes, but since none of his transgressions, major or minor, will be addressed, what difference does it make?

After all, those of us aware know that Obama is a S*OAMF. But we also know the media will whitewash the errors.

But as noted, the real significance is, it illustrates the games the media plays. Huckleberry makes the error ‘off the cuff,’ and he’s a moron. Teleprompter in Chief makes the error in PREPARED REMARKS and it’s scrubbed from the transcript.

    Groupthink. Doublespeak. True Truth.

Smitty, brilliant phrase: “de-scope the federal government”.   Love it.

Smitty, I wouldn’t over-think this one, else you fall prey to “Rovemania,” wherein countless random elements become evidence of a dark plot by Karl Rove. Nothing specific, just plot-ness in general.

A simpler explanation is that Barry verbally stumbled. Again. Shocker, I know. If you check out the PBS page http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/business/july-dec11/obamaspeech_09-08.html you’ll see an update at the top:

    EDITOR’S NOTE:
The original transcript provided on this page, as was noted, reflected
the president’s remarks as prepared for delivery and released by the
    White House
. This transcript has been updated to reflect the remarks as
delivered and released by the White House.

    (my emphasis)

So all PBS did was release  the original text, after which Barry self-evidently ad-libbed his blooper. Hardly a re-writing of history.

I would be willing to bet money that most of Barry’s egregious verbal blunders came from ad-libs. The poor man is incapable of departing from a prepared text… 😉

You should read the screed Chuckie Johnson wrote in his little e-rag. I think I figured out why Johnson decided to write a blog. It would be impossible to wipe your ass with it. But at least I think I may have figured out what Little Green Footballs means. Somebody kicked his clear up into his intestines.
