Hippie Weeps for #OccupyToronto: ‘We Just Want to Try and Build a New World’

Posted on | November 26, 2011 | 14 Comments

Ace said dreadfully insensitive things about this pathetic Occupier’s sorrow over the loss of their squalid tent city. He has become to the Occupy movement what Chris Crocker was to Britney Spears:

“I spent the last three weeks building this library into a place where people could come together, where they can just share ideas, where they can meet each other, and where they can just be in peace together. And now it’s all being torn apart for no good reason. We’re not hurting anybody here. We’re not hurting any one. We just want to be here and meet each other and learn together. We just want to try and build a new world.”

Crying Canadian hippies! The last time I enjoyed sorrow this much was when ‘Bama made Tim Tebow cry in the 2009 SEC Championship Game.

    The word “Utopia” literally means “No Place”.  That’s what these #OWS idiots are trying to build.  Instead of Utopia they are building “Animal Farm”.

    Hey, Canadian Dude! Gather the funds and rent a nice field. Then you can do whatever you wish, within the law. And we can pay attention, or not, as it suits us.

    Stop trying to “build a new world” on OUR dime! Bloody leech!

    In order to ‘build’ something you actually have to get up in the morning, stay sober, and go to WORK, hoser

    Why don’t you try that

     I looked up my Dungeon Master Guide Book the other day to see what Dragon’s tears are worth.  If you could find some, it’s more than gold.

    On a lark, I happened to look up what Hippie’s tears are worth and it said, “Less than the hippie themselves.”

    You actually referred to an OWSer as a “hippie”?

    How embarrassing for you to display your lack of history in public.

    Misery loves company. If they want a commune, then go buy a farm. However, that might be skating dangerously close to actually doing something with their time.

    Oh man, that was from OWS Toronto? I saw that clip and thought it was a
    historical reencatment of reaction to the burning of the Library in Alexandria by Theopolis in 391AD

    1) They are rebelling against authority (e.g., “corporations control the wealth”);

    2) They dress in a very shabby manner;

    3) They don’t have jobs;

    4) They don’t take their personal hygiene seriously;

    5)  Drugs are a part of their “culture”;

    and…….

    6)  They don’t take their personal hygiene seriously.

    Ergo, they are hippies.
