Call me a lunatic, but I think that the lengthy primary season has been a qualified success. The negative aspects of character assassination are due to (a) the media seeking to tell people what to think, and (b) voters rewarding crappy behavior on the part of candidates by way of SuperPACs.
Other than that, letting candidates demonstrate their commitment to the job is a Good Thing. For all my high regard for Herman Cain, his campaign simply was not up to the task. Compressing the process, and taking shortcuts doesn’t seem like a good idea.
Yeah, we need a short, sweet primary season so the RNC can lock things up for its favored next-in-line Gentry GOP Ruling Class RINO candidate without having to deal with Teatards, Bitter Clingers, and other Right Wing Nutjobs.
I love ‘Teatard’, which I think I first saw on Daily Pundit. As a proud Teatard, I think we need more, not less, time and focus on policy and candidates. #OccupyResoluteDesk famously talked about sunlight as a disinfectant. That BHO meant that statement about as much as anything else he campaigned on, which is to say, not at all, does not negate it.
Our Ruling Class RINOs, rather than harnessing Teatard power, seem to want the Brussels approach, where pointy-headed little worms pull stunts like the Treaty of Lisbon.
