Past The Dem Hypocrisy, There Is A Point Being Made

Another day, another “Dems apoplectic over the same stunts they pulled in 2008” story. This time, the Democrats are whinging at being held accountable for the connection between lousy policy and high gas prices:

The point here is that the Ruling Class model is that the population as a whole is a giant, stupid lump.

That #OccupyResoluteDesk has any support whatsoever sort of bears this theory out. What to do, then? While not snobbishly suggesting everyone go to college, those who care to might consider educating themselves. If we set about redistributing knowledge and power, rather than wealth, then we’re less susceptible to Ruling Class deception.

Clearly, the truth matters little to the Democrats. Neither does the fact that they are putting a double standard on display for all to see. It would be hilarious, if it weren’t so serious.

Again, the deeper point is that the citizenry, as a whole, is viewed as stupid. Often as not by the GOP, as well.
Let that prophecy not be self-fulfilling.

They do think we are stupid. Personally, I think it would do our country a vast amount of good if we showed them just how stupid we aren’t. We can do that through the voting booth, if we will.

Your point about getting educated is a good one. Unfortunately, most colleges aren’t going to give one the education they need. They’re just Progressive factories churning out the stupid.

    How about restricting The Francise.

Let us not forget that it was the Socialists of the 19th Century who waged a successful campaign to enlarge, democratize, it.  And it is the Left of today that wants to make it so easy to vote the vote can be easily corrupted, and they spend literally hundreds of millions of dollars to urge everyone to vote.

If you will not take the time to educate yourself on the issues of the day, you have a duty not to vote.

Which is one of the best things about Newt. With the possible exception of Bachmann he is the only one of the the past and present candidates who understands the importance of leftist infiltration of the education system and can articulate it beyond some shallow ten second sound bite about ending the DOE. Maybe that’s because they are educators, but regardless, no one else expresses how important that issue is in long range terms.
