“Occupy VS. Tea Party” is the brainchild of producer/author/musician Gordon G.G. Gebert. Gordon hopes to fund the pilot for his show and get it on air (or the Internet) before the November election. He has chosen the web to raise funds to cover the initial production costs. Using Kickstarter, Gebert hopes to raise $10,000 via “crowd funding.” He has until Thursday, July 19th to reach his goal.

    Don’t be a sucker.

    This effectively sets up a moral equivalence between the two movements which does not exist.  It can only diminish the Tea Party and promote OWS. 

    Better just to have an all-OWS reality show.  There are plenty of challenges:  keep the homeless from eating the free food, survive a night in the rape tent, who can poop on the most cop cars, The Great Drum Circle Beat-Off, etc.

    This could be very good or very, very bad particularly if the emphasis is on creating personality driven drama. Isn’t this what the Social Democratic convention is for?

    The OWS gets none of my money from my hands, not even indirectly.  And there’s better than a 50-50 chance that this  reality show will be hijacked by some commie in MSM clothing to bash conservatives in general, and the Tea Party in particular.

    So, nope.  Not a dime.
