Whittle Putting BHO’s “You Didn’t Get There On Your Own” In Context

It’s already the defining moment of the campaign, but Bill Whittle slices like a hammer here, casting Captain Collectivism’s remark in a biographical context that makes it abundantly clear: #OccupyResoluteDesk is intellectually incapable of viewing reality in any manner than the one which liberty-loving Americans are busily deriding:

Whittle confuses a few of his facts but his general thesis is absolutely correct. Someone has been looking out for Barack, and covering his trail. The media have assisted in the cover-up, but who has been laying down the red carpet for him?

I tend to think its one of those guys he bowed to, and not the particular one who reigns over an Asian island-nation.

doesn’t he mean you didn’t build the roads and bridges? i mean, he is a very poor speaker, after all.

Let’s make millions of individualized versions of this sign appear in store windows between now and November.

    IT COST ME (x) [YEARS|MONTHS],
    (y) NIT-PICKY PERMITS, AND $(z)
BEFORE I COULD EVEN OPEN THIS BUSINESS,
    ALL THANKS TO GOVERNMENT “HELP.”
BUT I GOT IT DONE ANYWAY!
    THANKS FOR NOTHING, BIG GOVERNMENT!

I release this wording to the public domain, to pre-empt anyone who would claim ownership of it.

i agree. but it seems it’s gotcha for gotcha’s sake when the real commie pinko tripe is the crux. if they are gonna take it to november like this, it should be in context of what he was saying. not that the bozo meant you didn’t build your business, but he meant you didn’t build the roads.

like krauthammer said the infrastructure is a given, individual effort is not. it just bugs me ’cause i know the lefties will be going “that’s not what he meant” when the entire “i know better” speechifying should outrage.

backbenching do nothing jr senator served 2 years and voted present on everything when he could be bothered to show,  but oh, no, he’s smarter than us. duh. well, this southern independent conservative is voting for the northereastern liberal republican. God save us, Nelson Rockefeller.

    and magic pants.

I agree Republicans are shitty as hell when it comes to explaining what they mean. I get so frustrated at them I could scream. It’s almost like they think “look if you people are too stupid to understand without us taking the time to explain it to you you’re beyond hope”.

And that’s really all they have to do, is point out its the productive members of society whose tax dollars ALREADY fund roads and bridges, cops and firefighters, etc., all government does is channel their tax dollars towards those efforts.

But there comes a point where there’s a limit to how much taxes a person pays before the system becomes unsustainable.
