Hair Of The Dog, With Ken Burns Surprise

I’m a little shocked at Ken Burns in this clip, claiming that the secessionist rumblings on WhiteHouse.gov are DNA-related. How in the world has he not glommed onto the idea that those petitions could be set up by Lefties wanting to drive the accusation that the people who’d petition for secession are raaaaaacist? It’s almost as though there was a coordinated 1-2. . .oh, wait. . .

What’s more interesting though, is how Ken Burns, known for his manipulation of old still photos, inserts himself into some black-and-white movie footage at the end of VodkaPundit’s clip.

Yes, Ken, people are talking secession because a black man is in the White House.
Wait a minute – the League of the South called for secession when George W. Bush lied us into a war, benefiting no one but war contractors and politicians. Now that Obama has codified the assaults on the Bill of Right that Bush and Cheney initiated, it looks like the League was just a little ahead of the curve.

I want to know why Adjoran was willing to do a remake of Little Women with Ken Burns and Bill Schmalfeldt.

Ken Burns is a Beta Male panty-waist.

Lordy, still peddling the “lied us into war” lie? I guess the Progressive’s favorite philosopher was right — tell a lie often enough, and people believe it.

You lefties were predicting tens of thousands of US casualties due to the WMD you know dismiss as chimerical. Saddam’s own generals were begging to be given release to use the weapons you now want to pass off as Bush’s invention.

And, hell, the Kurds buried thousands of people killed by Saddam’s WMD — then Saddam played “do I have them or not” games for more than a decade.

You’re treating information found after-the-fact as if it were known before hand. YOU are the liar.

But you don’t really care, because it’s politically useful. You’re perfectly happy lying and slandering people, so long as it leads to you having power.

So the perps ADMIT no WMD could be found, and you STILL imagine they were real?

    Wow.

It was laughable that puny Iraq was a threat to the US. Even the CIA knew there was no threat, and said so:

But to defend this disastrous war at this point, in view of the debt and casualties and needless suffering it’s unleashed, is simply insane.

No, what is insane is lying down and letting liars like you repeat your lies uncontested, which we don’t do in these parts.

You contest falsehood with facts, which I’ve presented. All you’re doing is tossing insults.

Bush & Co. made assertions they have been forced to admit were not substantiated by evidence.

    That makes them the liars.

History always begins with Bush with you people. Tough toenails, pal. Clinton and company had the longest history of warning us about Saddam’s WMD, right up until we actually sent the military in.

But you go ahead and peddle your fantasies. It’s good for a laugh, and we can use the humor while your beloved lightworker is dismantling freedom.

    K-Bob,
You need to try a bit harder. See above links.

Ignoring hard data is a bad sign that you are out of touch with reality.

Clinton wasn’t the only lefty claiming we needed to do something about Saddam’s WMD’s. You need to stand a bit closer to the facts. I know they might dent your image of the warhawks on the left who called for us to “do something” about Saddam’s weapons, but once you get over it, you’ll begin the process of healing.

    K-Bob,
Exactly WHAT “hard data” am I ignoring? I consider Bill Clinton a war criminal as well for ordering the murder of 5,000 Serb civilians during his “Wag the Dog” war.

  19. K-Bob
    November 29th, 2012 @ 4:19 pm

You blamed the WMD on Bush. That says it all.

    November 30th, 2012 @ 9:00 am

But K-Bob, it was Bush who pumped up fear of Iraq’s phantom WMDs to launch a war. And that war has led directly to the surveillance regime we have now.

Sure. If history begins in 2003. But it doesn’t. Bill Clinton and a host of Dems were calling for “regime change” in Iraq before Bush decided to run for president in 2000. Why, you might ask?

    Two words: W. Effing. M. D’s.

This is amazing. If your “W. Effing. M. D’s” were real, WHY DID RUMSFELD and others admit they had not been found? And since when did validation from a repulsive slimebag like Clinton make something right?

This subservience to government is why we’re losing our liberty.

    You have lost the train.

You claimed it was Buuuush! who made the big deal about WMD. All I did was point out that it was others who got that ball rolling.
