Maryland: The Crazy State

Posted on | November 10, 2013 | 25 Comments

Thursday, I asked that you go hit Jeff Quinton’s tip jar after he was the target of a crazy act of retaliation by disgruntled Maryland Republicans. Jeff has a wife and baby at home and, believe it or not, things got even crazier Friday — and I mean, criminally crazy.

It’s a shame Stacy. We have real battles to fight here, without dealing with this psychotic garbage.

Ciancia? Zeitgeist? LAX? Lack of federally mandated young testosterone male vital essence release therapy? Neither Loughner, Ciancia, nor Holmes have evidence of having had a girl friend. Why do they grown beards in jail/prison (Islam Hipster OWS connection)? The silence is deafening.

I still don’t think he had enough evidence to name the suspect in the UMBC computer blackmail threat, but this seems clearly linked to Lollar’s campaign and/or supporters. Has Quinton reached out to media, too? It isn’t as if Lollar is the Democratic nominee, one might suppose they’d expose someone with a violent and fanatical following.

A resort to such tactics, against fellow Republicans, in a GOP primary campaign? It’s just crazy.

We’re trying. We’ve even reached out to Charles himself to no avail thus far. After the leaflet incident, Jeff is definitely reaching out to authorities and has reached out to media as well.

The problem is, these amateurs don’t know the different between political and personal. Some blogs have pointed out valid concerns about campaign mismanagement, so his staff decides to make the attacks personal.

Who ARE these people? How is this guy still in the primary? I mean, surely Lollar has to know that the other candidates are just going to use this as oppo against him. They’re probably already putting together commercials with foreboding music and imagery of Obama and the NSA/IRS. And we know how petty he is.

This is less like politics and more like reality TV.

On a related note, Florida GOP is the same way. It preferred re-electing Alan Grayson to Alan West.

Their income is at stake. Political campaigns are usually lucrative, and a decent campaign worker goes from election to election making good money. Blogs are the new Referral Letter, and a negative blog means no income.
