Now @PiersMorgan Interviews Duke Porn Star @Belle_Knox a/k/a Miriam Weeks

Posted on | March 7, 2014 | 82 Comments

Regular readers need no introduction:

On the one hand, Duke University freshman Miriam Weeks wants us to believe that she is not ashamed of hiring out her vagina to porn producers. On the other hand, she expects us to protect her mythical anonymity when, in point of fact, anybody with access to Google can learn that the infamous vagina-for-hire known by the professional pseudonym “Belle Knox” is actually Miriam Weeks.

Not to put too fine a point on it, Miriam Weeks is a whore.

She is not merely a slut (a word signifying promiscuity), but is a prostitute, a whore, a woman whose vagina is for rent by hourly rates.

Blunt honest English language is not hate, and it is the hypocrisy of euphemism that insults our intelligence:

The Duke University student and porn star known as Belle Knox opened up in a candid interview with Piers Morgan Thursday night, saying she has no regrets about getting to porn and telling him proudly, “I’m not being exploited, I love what I’m doing, and I’m safe. . . .
Knox told Morgan if she had been “another college girl who does porn,” it wouldn’t be a big news story, except for the fact that she took a stand, defended herself, and talked about how it “empowered” her. She said that everyone is “so repressed” and “told that sex is bad” that being in the porn industry and having “sexual autonomy is an “incredibly freeing experience” for her.
Knox said Duke University has been “really supportive,” but she had to get away from campus because it was a “really upsetting experience” for her, whereas when she’s working on pornos, she’s “surrounded by support” and “people I can talk to the stigma I face every day.”

“Well, that comes from thousands of years of patriarchy
and thousands of years of religion that leads us
to the point where we so deeply fear sexuality.”

What. Ever.

It is the hypocrisy, as I say, that is insulting. If Miriam Weeks, the daughter of an oncologist in Spokane, Washington, and a graduate of Gonzaga Prep, wants to be a shameless whore — getting paid to be boned on camera for the perverse entertainment of creepy freaks worldwide — that’s her business. But for her to pretend that this is anything other than what it is, to suggest that what she does is “empowering” and that anyone who disapproves is “repressed” — for her to expect us to accept her as our moral superior — is so insulting that I’m surprised that her fellow Women’s Studies majors at Duke are not publicly calling her out for it.

This deception requires us to ignore the reality of what it is that Miriam Weeks is paid to do. But let any Women’s Studies major explain how it is “empowering” for a teenage college girl to do this, this, thisthis and this (all NSFW, of course). That’s feminism?

Piers “the bleached squeak hole” Morgan? Ouch. That will leave a bigger mark than when Jeremy Clarkson punched Piers out.

Yeah. Those of us not sold on the “sex is the only true freedom/anti-self control” philosophy of life are prudes who should be ashamed. I’m not married and don’t treat my lady parts like a McDonald’s drive-thru so clearly there is something wrong with ME and not the upstanding women who will simultaneously decry the patriarchy while giving it exactly what they bitch about it being the only thing the patriarchy wants. Self-respect is an anathema to these people… as opposed to self-esteem, which they have in spades.

But, to be fair, I’d probably be overly defensive about my dumb decisions, too, if everybody kept telling me I was a special snowflake despite there being no evidence I’m even competent, much less very good at, anything other than treating my lady parts like a McDonald’s drive-thru.

As much as I don’t like the castigation side of this issue, it has to be pointed out that the castigation is a direct result of her attempt to legitimize what she does as somehow being the sort of activity that Must Be Viewed as Good, Clean, Family Fun.

Just as the word “hygiene” does not imply that one never gets dirty, neither should “acceptance” imply that all things must be kept out in public view. There are many variants of this concept that don’t have to go all the way into the realm of “hardcore.” For example, a bikini has a perfectly acceptable place and time for wear. But wearing one at a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, or at one’s graduation ceremony at West Point is, and should be, viewed as anywhere from shameful to fully insane.

This is something that most people learn without difficulty. Boundaries like these are very important to society. Remember the “scandal” of Barney Frank showing up in congress with a ‘revealing tee shirt’? How are you supposed to get work done around people like that? So the phrase, “Boundaries, people,” is a good thing.

I’m more of an Ace of Spades type moron in this issue. I can accept the pr0n industry as a fact of life and lifestyle, but I damn well expect it to be kept sub rosa.

Besides, unless it is kept sub rosa, it loses it’s entire reason for existence.

In other words Miriam, If you make of it a flap, they will not fap.

It is, thankfully, a minority view and one born of the increasing acceptance of depravity. That she is using prostitution to pay her way is utterly shameful.

The Wesley Brothers and Francis Asbury would have the place burned to the ground and thrown most of the faculty into the bonfire as well.

Fear sexuality? Us patriarchs insist on sexuality. We also insist it be expressed where it’s supposed to be expressed, and not in filmed prostitution.

I’m confused; pictures of her were linked in the ‘Rule 5 Monday’ and now she is a whore? So in one context she is ok {Rule 5}, but in another she is a whore? How does that work?

Show us the “no whores” rule in Rule 5.

It’s supposedly aimed at her getting a law degree.

I can’t really add to that.

“Well, that comes from thousands of years of patriarchy and thousands of years of religion that leads us

to the point where we so deeply fear sexuality.”

We so deeply fear sexuality that you can get paid to put it on film so that society can then pay to see it? What does America fear more than that? Beer? Cheeseburgers? Fast cars? Hot chick….wait. I see what I did there.

The castigation is also a direct result of the idiocy behind the idea of anonymous porn.

She’d fit right in at Vanderbilt these days. I bet she’d still do porn. #Empowerment

You left out the “bump” part.

I’ve read elsewhere that if the woman makes it to the cover of a porn video that she can command a lot more on the strip circuit.

I can’t, however, I will let your question speak for what I am talking about.
