Kook Nation: Crazy Lady Who Threw Shoe at Hillary Clinton Is Crazy

Posted on | April 13, 2014 | 45 Comments

The wackos are everywhere nowadays:

Before a wig-wearing nutjob threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton, the footwear flinger gave her heart to accused Colorado mass killer James Holmes.
Alison Ernst, 36, of Phoenix, was identified Friday as the sneaker-tossing kook who targeted the former First Lady one day earlier during a speech at a Las Vegas casino.
And Colorado officials confirmed she was the loopy lady escorted from the courtroom after a bizarre — and bald-headed — outburst during an August 2012 court hearing for Holmes. . . .
Twenty months earlier, she arrived in a Colorado courtroom with her head shaved while wearing a red dress before declaring she held evidence “vital to the defense of James Holmes.” Two deputies quickly escorted her outside.
The Arizona woman later filed an off-the-wall lawsuit detailing her devotion to Holmes, who was accused of killing 12 people and wounding another 70 in an Aurora movie theater. . . .
“I seek a restraining order to stop Holmes from entering my mind through subliminal messaging and causing me to be obsessed with him on a daily basis.”

Almost as “off-the-wall” as Brett Kimberlin’s Second Amended Complaint.

I assume this is an example of even a broken clock being right twice a day (so when will she toss the other shoe)

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, she wasn’t a Tea Party Kook??

  • Evi L. Bloggerlady

She is a Kook Aid drinker! I suspect somewhere on the far left where they brew that…

  • Rosalie

The crazy lady had one lucid moment, for sure.

  • RKae

…and I would vote for her for president before I would vote for Hillary.

  • DaveO

A potential recruit for Team Kimberlin and NR?

I assumed she was some sort of leftist or crazy since we did not hear much about her. Even Harry Reid didn’t claim she was paid by the Koch brothers.

  • Evi L. Bloggerlady

If she was twenty or twenty five years younger, she would be potential Kimberlin dating material.

  • richard mcenroe

You mean the Dems are losing their lunatic constituency too? Awesome news! Tell Annamika

Throwing cats would have been much more impressive.

  • actionsspeaklouder

Crazy or not, her heart was in the right place . . .

  • Adjoran

The woman needs to be placed in appropriate institution’s “Wymyn’s Studies Department” with the rest of the nuts.

  • jony101

    me too.

  • sarah wells

No place to put schizophrenic ladies anymore, except jail. So she’s got that going for her which is nice.

  • Jeanette Victoria

Just another example who we as a culture no longer care for the mentally ill until *after* they become violent. Kennedy and the ACLU declared that the mentally ill had the right to live on the street, eat out of dumpsters and terrorize the sane

  • richard mcenroe

What is your problem with “exciting life choices”?

Maybe Anamika is the crazy shoe thrower, hmmmmm?

  • RKae

…and appear as contestants on “Project Runway.”

  • M. Thompson

    Don’t give them ideas!

  • Anamika

ZZZZZZZZ: “I seek a restraining order to stop Anamika from entering my mind through troll messaging and causing me to be obsessed with her on a daily

  • Kyle Kiernan

Contrast this against the time W had a shoe thrown at him by an Iraqi. Press loved that one. They went all “we ponder the deeper meaning of this action as political protest” harrumph harrumph.

  • K-Bob

    She’s nut job locked.

  • Quartermaster

Such insensitivity. She belongs in a nice safe place, protected from such H8rz, where life is “gay, all day long.”

It’s free association; Stacy discusses a crazy lady, and your name pops into my head, for some odd reason.

  • richard mcenroe

“…and I’ll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats
And they’re coming to take me away HA-HAAA…!”

  • richard mcenroe

big-ass thunderstorm out here. Wont’ be online long. Greenhouse already trashed.

  • Anamika

The “odd reason” is richard mentioned my name and you were replying to the comment that already equated Anmaika=Crazy. Not so odd now, is it? Better get that RTO ZZZZZZZZ…LOL

  • Anamika

I love thunderstorms. Every summer my sister and I used to sit on porch at our country home to watch the storms, and often got soaked by gusts of rain. But we had great fun.

If the power goes off, hope it gets restored soon. Be safe!

  • Quartermaster

+1 for catching the “They’re Coming To Take Me Away” reference.

  • Frankly Bored

    Big hitter, the Lama…

  • Stanley

Yes, but the shoe omitted to strike.

Shame. It could have accomplished so much…

  • Zorek Richards

That subliminal messaging thing must be how most Democrats get their fan base.

  • K-Bob

    It accomplished this cringeworthy photo.
Of course, I’ll have to denounce myself for putting it here.

  • Bob Belvedere

Actually…she may just be Kirby McCain kind of crazy.

  • Bob Belvedere

    Paging Kirby!
