Jihad in Denmark?

Posted on | February 15, 2015 | 30 Comments

Two people were killed and five wounded in two separate shooting incidents Saturday in Copenhagen, Denmark. The first shooting was at a free speech event featuring a cartoonist who had mocked the Prophet Muhammad and the second shooting was at a nearby synagogue.

Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs is following developments.

    As a commentator noted at the Blogfather: Maybe Obama can point out how the Danes shouldn’t get on their high horse given their Viking past…

    I’m pretty sure that most of us recognize jihad when we see it. This administration, however? I wonder how they’ll spin this.

    Darn this “random” violence! If only we could figure out what drives this? It must be those decadent values like free speech, democracy and women not chained to the floor when not accompanied by a man.

    Note how the Presstitutes are going so far out of their way to keep from saying that these killers are at least terrorists and most likely Muslims.

    They’re using “Killers”, “Gunmen”, “Assailants” etcetera etcetera.

    They’re going to be in pretzels by the time ISIS gets through showing the world just how barbaric and vicious Islam is.

    Chickens :: Roost. Some assembly required.

    That’ll teach those bastards to invade a peaceful island in the North Sea full of white people.

    I used “shooter” too since it is not confirmed who the shooter is yet (obviously the police know they monitored his apartment and killed him in a shoot out). I assume he is Muslim or at a minimum Muslim inspired, but I do not know that yet (he might be a freak playing off Muslim attacks, although that seems unlikely).

    A shooter at a free speech event? Issue an APB for a Muslim or a liberal.

    True, and the same shooter at a synagogue. Probably the Religion of Peace Pieces®. But with the NC Chapel Hill shooter being a MSNBC Maddow SPLC fan, there is a wild outside chance of this being crazy mimic…but I like I said I doubt it.

    Random people in a random cafe and a random synangogue randomly hit by random shot fired by a random assailant.

    Nothing to see here. Move along.

    Pass the federal law to give reciprocity for conceal carry across state lines.

    It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
    To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
    “We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
    Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

    And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
    And the people who ask it explain
    That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
    And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

    It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
    To puff and look important and to say: —
    “Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
    We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

    And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
    But we’ve proved it again and again,
    That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
    You never get rid of the Dane.

    It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
    For fear they should succumb and go astray;
    So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
    You will find it better policy to say: —

    “We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
    No matter how trifling the cost;
    For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
    And the nation that pays it is lost!”

    The killer’s name was Omar al-Hussein, so, no, they wouldn’t want to use his name.

    According to ynet, 22 year old Omar al-Hussein was born and reared in Denmark, so it’s not like he was bought up in a savage land and immigrated to Denmark.

    Better still make constitutional carry the law of the land. Oh wait we already did that, how did we get the idea that carrying firearms could be a crime?

    Both of the targets in Denmark were ”hardened” (had police present for security) and there were police casualties at both sites. I believe last week three french policemen were attacked by a man with a knife, while guarding a Jewish school or synagogue. Police targeted in France and possibly Denmark. Shootouts with police in France, Belgium and now Denmark. Sooner or later even the Europeans will figure out something is amiss.

    And he was probably Nels Jensen at birth, until he converted, on account of that being a great way to legitimize murder.

    “How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
    Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

    Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

    It seems a substantial number of Moslems desire a world ending war.

    Doing so would be a folly for all involved.

    It would only be worse for them from the point of view of our culture. From the point of view of their culture, they would be martyrs in heaven. From the point of view of our culture, the strife would be better than servitude. Therefore, it is inevitable.
