FMJRA 2.0: No Grandeur This Week Just Misery

Another bad week to be a Senators fan. The week started off well enough with a 2-1 series against the Tribe, but then we came home to RFK and got swept by the Red Sox. Hasn’t helped that offensive studs like Bill Madlock, Rowland Office, and Dave Winfield all got injured. Wilbur Wood got an owie in his shoulder against Boston, but since he’s 1-8 we’re not really missing him too much. We’re hosting a three-game series against Baltimore (24-19) on Tuesday, and then the Bravos (26-22) come to town on Friday. Fans should visit Amazon and get fresh batteries for their agonizers.
In other, happier news, after the Crimson Tide laid a 56-23 whupping on Mississippi State, they are now #1 in the College Football Marble Game which is the only poll worth paying attention to. Roll Tide!
