Suspect Named in Quadruple Murder

A shocking crime:

Police in Washington, D.C. have identified a suspect in the killing of a wealthy family and their housekeeper last week. An arrest warrant was issued for Daron Dylon Wint in connection with the killings in the family’s Northwest Washington home.
The 34-year-old Maryland man was charged with first degree murder and police have offered a bounty of up to $25,000 for leads to his arrest, the Metropolitan Police Department said, in a statement. The man was described as a “black male, approximately 5’7” in height, weighing approximately 155 pounds.”

The Washington Post reports:

The stunning break in the case came after police matched Wint to DNA found on the crust of a Domino’s pizza that had been ordered to the house the night of May 13, as the victims were being held, according to three law enforcement officials with knowledge of the investigation
The next morning, Savvas Savopoulos’s personal assistant dropped off a package containing $40,000 in cash at the home, according to the officials and police documents.
Hours later, the multimillion-dollar house was on fire, and the four occupants were dead. When firefighters arrived that afternoon, the cash was gone, as was a blue Porsche owned by the family. The vehicle was found later that day, torched in a church parking lot in Prince George’s County.

Savopoulos, his wife Amy, their 10-year-old son, Philip, and their housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa, were all killed. Savopoulos is survived by two teenage daughters, who were away at boarding school.

The big question is, how can we blame this on the racist police?

DC police are off limits. After shooting Miriam Carey for the heinous offense of getting confused in traffic and making a worn turn – with her infant daughter in the car – the cops received a standing ovation in Congress. Heroes all, the mother shooting stalwarts.

Nope, this guy’s from Maryland, so we know it’s the racist Baltimore police who are responsible. But not, of course, any of the Democrat leadership of B’more.

Yeah, this one looks even worse. Some day maybe some true crime writer will do it, like Bugliosi’s Helter Skelter.

I think the time is coming where the affluent or even upper middle class will have to live behind gates and armed guards in our cities as they do in much of the 2nd and 3rd world

Contrary to propaganda, THIS is why white flight happens.
There was an article recently in the Federalist along these lines, referring to one woman’s memories of Baltimore:

A Child’s Memory Of White Flight From Baltimore

The most shocking thing about this crime is that the MPD would describe the suspect as black.

Or, alternatively: Never jerk off on a pizza after murdering some people.

He’s no stranger to the court system, but there’s nothing I saw that comes close to what was stated as done to the 10 year old boy – apparently so vicious as to be denied a description.

    Daron Dylon Wint
After reading that name, I didn’t need the story to tell me that the fugitive is a black fellow.
    Just saying’.

Let me take a stab at that one…..

    Rev. Al :
” This proud young African-American man, knowing the legacy of thousands of years of oppression of black youth by white police and growing up in a raaaaacist society where white police murder unarmed black babies by the hundreds every day was so conditioned by society, that he believed that he had to commit this minor infraction in order to please the white slave master under whose iron whip he grew up.”
“This man is a victim in this matter!”
“Society is at fault, the police is at fault, FoxNews is at fault and I will be speaking to President about a pardon and full monetary reparations when I visit the White House tomorrow.”

    Or something like that.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you – it’s that whole work and family obligations thing. I’m editing the original link to reflect what it should be – the case search portal for MD. Check the box, enter names and preferences & there you go.

I just tried it, and you have to leave the middle name blank. Judging by the birthdate of 11/1980, it’s all the same guy, but there are lots of different spellings of his middle name, none of them Dylan.
