The Fail Starts With The First Word Of The Title

Zero‘ Dark Thirty“? Really? Those who are in the know say: “Oooh Dark Thirty”.

The Obama Administration is giving us the Full Riefenstahl in time for the election. What’s bad for them about this is that the administration’s success is predicated upon a willing audience. Instead, the shills assembling this flick will find themselves immediately pilloried, frame for frame.

I predict a Team America: World Police remix of ZDT within a month of the election.

Update: Hogewash concurs.

And Smitty nails it. MY 22 years said WTF, Zero? And I’m just a blackshoe Professional Surface Warrior (H/T Lex), like the Chris.  Only I blow stuff up. He just tells me to do it.

NEVER heard “Zero Dark Thirty”.  Maybe they’re referring to the decades of misery Presidente Zero is setting us up for fixing his messes?

Shit, even I know it’s oh dark thirty and all I was was a military imposter (except for 2 months 16 days time for pay in the USAF, being honorably discharged on 24 Jan 1974 as an Airman Basic [just got the DD-214 from the National Records Center]) “Zero Dark Thirty” indeed!

Zero has got to be the level of military experience of whoever titled the flick.

Yep, pretty lame, and should have been caught by any veteran reviewing the script.

That it wasn’t caught makes me wonder if someone in the production staff slipped a little hemlock into the mix, just to mess with the whole project.

But calling it “O Dark Thirty” would be <takes deep breath> raaaaacist!

I’ve heard the phrase “zero dark thirty” used many times around the military, specifically the Army. I only heard it once while in the Navy, however. The phrase simply means “godawful early,” or “too early for civilized men to be awake.”

The term “oh” is not proper usage in place of zero in the military.

I’ll take it up with my first sergeant.  Right after I clear that minefield with my teeth.
