CPAC: A Couple Of Good Signs

Ace has a report on the “Anti-gay Speaker Booed Off the Stage at CPAC“. My take on a Federal level is highly libertarian: I don’t want DC fretting individual sexuality, reproduction, education, housing, health, or retirement.

The other, less reported bit has to do with Philip J. Berg, of obamacrimes.com. The gentleman came fishing about, looking for anyone willing to support his Birther business. Responses ranged from tepid to frigid. Reasonable guy that I am, I tried to explain that, even were his positions to hold true, the Federal government, all three branches of it, are simply never going to admit that they utterly tubed the 2008 election. The point is moot, and the Federal deficit/debt are far more important.

So, Birtherism was as stillborn as homophobia at CPAC. Yay!

And, as noted on the mailing list, mad props to Red State for all the great work they did.

I think I kind of snubbed him when he sat next to me.

I’ve already explained why I think he is way off but that was still impolite of me.

I’m sticking with my theory: If Barack Obama really were out of compliance with the constitutional requirements for the job, and the evidence were there to be found, Hillary Clinton’s researchers would have found it, the would have had the come-to-Vito-and-Luca moment with him, and he would (maybe) be serving in her administration.

If movement GOPers are throwing around a ridiculous propaganda word like “homophobia,” moral conservatives who signed up for the GOP sure have been duped.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, DC just got barred from continuing adoption services by gay activism. Apparently Republicans are more worried about what their cool gay friend thinks about them.
