How do I know that the World’s Only Rational Man is my junior? Look at him applying a logical methodology to a matter of political history. Of course FDR didn’t mean anything like the scientific method when he set about tinkering with the US Constitution and economy. Any superficial appearance of such was merely a sales pitch.

    The ultimate rational man, a man for all seasons, if the season is being a Nannycrat for the City of New York (and hopefully the world):

    Bloomberg speaks:

    “The difference is we’re in an election season. And this whole issue, I think, will go away right after the next election. This is plain and simple people trying to stir up things to get publicity and trying to polarize people so that they can get some votes. And I don’t think that most of these people who are yelling and screaming really care one way or another.”

    Bloomberg is also saying: Stop yelling and screaming bitter clingers. You are against freedom and unamerican. And lay off the trans fats and cigaretts or we will make you lay off them.

    Hmm…the current Zombie Apocalypse craze…government spending over the last few years…

    Holy crap, you HAVE broken the code.

    And watching these unions shambling toward us with unfunded pension liabilities does make me feel like I’m on their menu.
