Dave Weigel quotes Creepy Joe:

Joe McGinniss is no longer surprised at the hate engendered by his new biography, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin. “Did you see this crazy blogger, Stacy McCain, saying he’s starting a legal fund for Todd Palin?” he asks. The blog post appeals for $25 donations to SarahPAC to “help defray Todd’s legal expenses when he shows up at McGinniss’s first book signing and pounds that scurvy worm into a bloody pulp.”

Don’t read the rest of it, unless you’re interested in a stale rehash of the familiar litany of blind-sourced smears. But do contribute generously:

    Stacy McCain frightens me.  He is the little guy who promotes the lynch mob!  I weep for this nation and its ongoing shame.  I need to hug the beagle and smoke a bong hit…I mean take my medical treatment.

    Anamika doesn’t understand that if I had rattled my own tip jar  rather than doubling down on the SarahPAC solicitation it would have totally ruined the desired message. But I best not talk too much about the embedded rationale — the moral context — lest the fool discover her folly.

    Which is to say: we have the Todd Palin defence fund, but we also need one for when he beats the living daylights out of Levi Johnson, and one for moving in right next door to these creeps to give them a taste of their own medicine.

    Know what would be funny?  If every place Peepin’ Joe has a book signing, someone walks up behind him and drops a book flat on the floor.  They hit pretty loudly, like a moose gun.

    Alternatively, have people stand near the signing table and audibly whisper, “Is that Todd Palin?”

    Thier hatred blinds them of any humor. Its like Rush always says, they don’t like to see happy people on the other side of the political divide. Sarah Palin drives them nuckin futs because she keeps pushing on and smiling the whole time.
