And he just won’t stop:

The jobless man branded ‘Britain’s most feckless dad’ for fathering 14 children has had another child – and two more are on the way.
Jamie Cumming, 34, from Dundee, who lives off benefits, has had 15 children by 13 different women – and is unable to pay maintenance for any of them.
Mr Cumming’s 19-year-old ex-girlfriend birth to his latest child, a son, two weeks ago. His current girlfriend, also 19, was last night due to give birth to another boy.
A girl of 17 is understood to be expecting his 17th child in the New Year . . .

Speaking of 17-year-olds, Courtney Stodden and her 51-year-old husband Doug Hutchison are in the celebrity news again. Some people were creeped out by their marriage, but you’ve got to admit, this Jamie Cumming dude is creepier.

    The fathers of all those teenage girls he has been preying on should get together and beat the shit out of that punk, and threaten to do it again if they ever hear of him hanging around teenage girls again….

    It’s just biology.    The fellow is incredibly successful, all told.    I’m trying to find some outrage someplace and I find I just can’t place it on him.

    The number of children born to unwed teen mothers is limited by the number of wombs, not by one fellow’s biological success, and the situation where it seems acceptable and normal to have your children without the benefit of a new family/self-supporting economic unit aren’t rules created by this fellow, or, for that matter, by the girls who get pregnant.

    What the social engineers simply insist on ignoring is that people want to reproduce and *particularly* people who don’t have much other hope for the future want to reproduce.   It’s a way to have something good in your life.   It’s POWERFUL, that creative force.   How many chances do these permanent wards of the welfare state have to be powerful?

    Taking as a given that I (for sake of argument) am going to have my babies and raise them within my existing (most likely matriarchal) family structure… taking that as a given…  this guy and his 17 offspring actually offers something comforting compared to the guy without any babies.    Because if you’re going to go matriarchal the guy is unlikely to bother you over family matters, and your babies get tons of siblings, which ought to count for something since they aren’t going to have a father even if you go with someone else.

    It’s a bad situation, but in the end people tend to make rational choices about the lives they actually lead.   The situation wasn’t set up by them.   They are just adapting in logical ways to it.

    You mean a sense of responsibility for their OWN daughters’ well-being doesn’t count?  It only matters if money is involved?  If that’s really true, then England is a lot farther gone than I thought.

    Sometimes you have to read a headline twice. I’m glad I wasn’t drinking coffee or my favorite adult beverage when reading this a second time. Thats a headline you would see in the New York Post.
