    Speaking of Aqua Buddha, I live in South Carolina and except for a single call from the Romney campaign, all my political phone calls and all my mail solicitations have come from Ron Paul, totally about a dozen all together, four of which were robo-calls.

    The mail pieces were fundraisers signed by his national chairman, Rand Paul.  Now, I have no idea why they are targeting me.  I’ve never given money to a Libertarian, nor facilitated their nonsense in any tangible way since I worked on a “small-l” libertarian Senate campaign over 30 years ago.

    I haven’t made a Presidential campaign donation since Reagan, and darned few others.  Maybe they picked me up on a small check to Jim DeMint when he was the underdog in the primary to replace Hollings, I can’t remember, but it wasn’t much (my advice was worth more than gold to him, so I don’t feel at all cheap).

    But it does occur to me that this is pretty clear proof of Rand Paul’s continued fidelity to Daddy Dearest.  When he ran for Senate, I had people lecturing me how independent he was, even though he had run his Dad’s isolationist campaign two years before.  But here he is.  Is he cool with the isolationist foreign policy, let Iran have the bomb, US actions caused 9/11, all the other nonsense?
