Big Government quotes Alexandra Pelosi on poor wee Princess Pelosi:

She would retire right now, if the donors she has didn’t want her to stay so badly. They know she wants to leave, though. They think she’s destined for the wilderness. She has very few days left. She’s 71, she wants to have a life, she’s done. It’s obligation, that’s all I’m saying.

Would that she could retire herself circa 2004 or so. So much idiocy could have been averted.

Fortunately, ‘sympathy’ is still in the dictionary. Princess Pelosi can find it there.

  3. Call me crazy, but shouldn’t it be “constituents” who want you to stay and not donors?  I didn’t realize that’s what the Founding Fathers set up- a constitutional republic for “donors.”

    That’s like admitting the corruption outright.  Geez, can you imagine if this was a “right-wing” congresscritter?  You can cut the hypocrisy with a knife.

    Considering the vast sums she’s personally wasted of my tax money spending $20 to get her out of office would give me an ROI that even the Goldman Sachs Mafia would envy.

  8. You mean Pelosi’s insider trading buddies?  Yeah, she has some payback owing to them.  Of course they want her to remain in till that happens.

Nancy Pelosi is the perfect symbol of the utter paucity of intelligence, morality, talent, and decency in today’s Democratic Party.  A woman of little intelligence, she rose to the leadership and even to be Speaker of the House of Representatives simply because her constituents are of equally low intelligence and kept reelecting her.

    Her only contribution to stimulating the economy has been to the key cosmetic surgery sector.
