    In my home state, he would be busted just for wearing the mask: there’s a post-Reconstruction  law that bans concealing your face in public. The intent was to make it harder for the Klan to maintain anonymity, but I have no doubt wandering around in a stocking mask  would get it applied to you no matter what your melanin content might be.
    Assuming, of course, some citizen didn’t jump to a justifiable conclusion and light you up.
