Pole Position: Phoning It In Insufficient

Posted on | May 31, 2012 | 21 Comments

by Smitty

HotAir reports that our perpetually potted President may have some difficulty getting the Polish feathers unruffled with the standard Choom-Ba-Yah approach to diplomacy.

Everybody seems to think that this is just some minor gaff. However, when you consider

some amount of Polish trepidation about the distant sound of diesel bus engines from the easterly direction is perhaps understandable.

This blog prays for Poland, which seems to have among the more wretched geo-political positions of our day. One can’t hold forth much hope that Barack Obama will change his callous ways. But maybe he will, given sufficient blowback.

And you only got through the first paragraph.  Keep trying Jeff and eventually you will be able to read faster.  Don’t give up.  You will over come the bad public education that the Democrats and the Teacher’s Union have inflicted on you!

Still no actual apology from The Smartest President Evah! It would be such a simple thing, yet, the longer it goes on the more worthless it will become.

The idiocy might mean little to us here in the US, but to the Poles it is a Big Insult.

As I’ve telling liberal pooh-pooers, imagine how they would react had Bush said it.

That’s not the question. The question is what you hoped to accomplish by posting this. You want people to see how ‘cool” you are? Well, people who would think it’s cool to dis Stacy McCain’s blog probably aren’t reading it, so why bother? You’re trying to rile up people who do read this blog? Son, we shit trolls like you before breakfast. Your statement was about as provocative as a damp napkin. Are you bored? Well, if you’re really bored, the archives of this shitty blog go back years, that ought to keep you “occupied” for months. Really, what’s the point here?

Poland is east of us?  “Ensign Smith, why is my aircraft carrier on this sandbar?”

Because you’re an abysmally slow reader, probably as the result of a public school education?

Even for those who hear voices and obey them on a regular basis don’t usually get instructions to go to some blog they’ve never heard of and then write something stupid.

It isn’t just the Russian bear the Poles are nervous about: what’s happening to their western flank thanks to the EU meltdown and dysfunction (which goes far, far beyond the economy) has to be giving them sleepless nights as well.

Plus, they have been staunch allies, and that missle shield would have been a nice pat on the back for being so (a show of support from us if anything) — so all of that and now this faux pas…well, one can understand why they are seriously po’d.

Really sharp comeback there, Neal.  Getting nervous?

Something just and honest is getting closer to you, buddy.  Every day.  No wonder you’re scared.

We can and will repair our relationship with Poland, one of our staunchest allies, once we correct the Great Error of ’08.

The several million American voters of Polish descent in PA, OH, IL, MI, WI, and MN can help.

Here’s one for ya, Axlerod:  “How many Poles does it take to unscrew a lying thug?”

We’ll tell you the answer in November, mmmkay?

First, Obama breaks the promise to protect the Poles from the valid threat of Russian nukes.

Then there was Russians shoot-down of the Polish government.

Now, SCOAMF flips the finger. Looks like Poland will no longer be an open market for American anything.

Well, let’s just say that the patience of the Poles is at the very least being sorely tested at the moment!
