Disagreement as ‘Harassment’? @StephHerold Says Tell the FBI

Posted on | August 13, 2013 | 134 Comments

“You are just an ignorant, inarticulate, hate-filled bigot — a typical American — and you are so insignificant that Sara Alcid can’t be bothered to notice.”
Robert Stacy McCain

Talking back to a Queer Feminist is a now evidently a hate crime or something, and Badger Pundit chronicles how my reply to a “reproductive justice” activist made Sara Alcid a heroic martyr in the “War on Women.” Disagreement is hate, because feminism.

Let’s remember what happened: My editors at The American Spectator assigned me to cover Saturday’s “SlutWalk DC,” a sort of feminist festival in which women celebrate victimhood, and the syllogism can be simply summarized: “Shut up, because rape.”

My description of that memorably ridiculous event prompted Sara Alcid to denounce me as “disgusting.”

We are not allowed to reply to them, you see.

These people are Our Moral Superiors. We are inarticulate subhumans who have no rights, not even the First Amendment free speech right to express disagreement or defend ourselves against insults.

We cannot reply by pointing out that Sara Alcid is a disciple of “queer theory” feminist Judith Butler, or that Sara Alcid works for a 501(c)3 non-profit abortion advocacy organization, or that Sara Alcid views Valentine’s Day as a hateful occasion when “heteronormativity and gender roles … rear their ugly heads.”

We cannot point these things out, because disagreement is hate.

The flawed logic of their rhetoric, their enthusiasm for bad ideas, their fanatical desire to destroy all that is true, right and decent in the world — no, you can’t point this out, because if you do, some people might say mean things about feminists, and people who say mean things about feminists are evil hateful sexist harassers who are trying to silence and intimidate these courageous women.

On the other hand, when the Southern Poverty Law Center publishes a “hate map” that inspires a deranged pervert to go shoot up the Family Research Council — that’s not hate or harassment.

Progressive activist Brett Kimberlin’s attempt to have his estranged wife involuntarily committed — that’s not hate or harassment.

The obscenely vile things that liberals say about Michelle Malkin, Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter and other conservative women — none of that can be condemned as hate or harssment and, in fact, feminists like Sara Alcid generally applaud and participate in the Left’s ongoing campaign to demonize and marginalize conservative women.

You can’t point this out, however, because pointing out the malicious dishonesty of feminists is “harassment and bullying.”

Also, never mention that Sara Alcid is in favor of killing babies, although I think some people might take notice of this.

If Stephanie Herold wants to keep digging that hole, I’m glad to help.

Please, ladies, never doubt your own monopoly on truth. Never consider the possibility that your philosophy is wrong. Never think of the blood of innocent victims you sacrifice on the altar of “choice.” Never waiver, never heed the “still small voice” of conscience, and please never repent your sins, lest you spare yourselves the torments of Hell.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness . . .”
Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)

Just send them to work for filthy filner for a year. I bet they’d have a whole new perspective on who the “oppressive patriarchy” is by then.

I think this topic needs a reminder of the fact that feminists are still far too silent on Mayor ““tongue thrust” Filner; the disgraced-into-resigning Anthony Weiner; the first–and only–impeached president/sexual predator to receive the Medal of Freedom; and of course what the medievalist, islamist jihadis do to women and very young girls on a daily basis.

No, they’d rather pretend their problem is conservatives.

The reality is that, just like gays, they are far safer behind conservatives with guns than they are hanging around with their perverted politicians, jihad-enabling party hacks, and Women’s Studies departments in colleges and universities.

Aside from the fact that this comment is obviously racist, it ignores the fact that the above-mentioned politicians have been absolved in the blood of dead babies. And the fact that cultural relativism makes it gauche to mention how the noble Islamists treat women. I mean, how unsophisticated can you be?

“…absolved in the blood of dead babies…”

A very good way of putting it. A new sacrament in the anti-church of the left.

If there were any sanity left in the world, that would scare people back into pews. Instead it’s touted like a resume bullet point.

Some readers may know that an internet personality called Thunderf00t is experiencing similar attacks by nutjobs representing the allegedly secular left. His usual fare comprises Youtube videos about science and education that I find entertaining despite the off-putting, gratuitous, and unfair shots at conservatives. Recently, he’s released a series of videos positing that “feminism is poisoning atheism.” The series details his interactions with various feminists and their allies in the “progressive” hive-mind, including his having been banned by various “free thought” organizations for expressing thoughts not approved by the hive. Predictably, “progressives” have responded with their usual threats of legal action and accusations of fascism.

The spectacle would be entertaining if it weren’t so terrifying. At this point, we’re no longer making arguments; the Narrative is so thoroughly entrenched that there is no longer a debate to be had. Rather, conservatives are merely creating a catalog of the decline of Western Civilization in the hope that it will be clear to future generations that we were right.

Reminds of one program on the Tomorrow Show back in the 70s. Radical Feminism was on the verge of going mainstream (or as much as any insanity can) and Tom Snyder had some radical witch on. During the interview she that all men are rapists. He took the cigarette from his mouth to announce a commercial break and she suddenly ejaculated, “you want to rape me right now.” He paused looked at her and retorted, “don’t flatter yourself.” I actually sympathized with Snyder, having to interview such an idiot.

I’d like to answer the why I think #slutwalks should continue. And
no, it isn’t because Robert Stacy McCain is a sexist pig -sorry, I read
your blog, and you are. 🙂

First, both sides recognize that ‘certain
    behaviors increase
your odds of becoming a victim’ truism but protestors have failed in
    their messaging.

The #slutwalks participants have yet to address the problem factually: millions of men “got dead drunk” without consequence,
but why does our society accept women must abide by the drunk/’slutty”
    clothing rules, or accept
responsibility for the crime of rape?

    IOW, have we decided a
woman, or even an adolescent, is required to know what triggers rape in
some men? Truthfully, most know men are unmolested because it is not a sexual crime but a power over women predilection, and drunk/clothing is simply a convenient ‘pass’ for a rapist’s nature

    With
respect to the “harassment” claim, it is regretful that a woman or a
man who engages the public with online
comments/video, regards countered opinion has a
form of harassment. It is an insult to women who have had the shit
scared out of them to have this serious issue compared to a middle-school-ish name-calling discussion.

Unlike women who have experienced life-altering harassment, Robert’s “victims” have the option of turning their internet settings to private, or
to stay offline. I suggest the latter, as it will give them time to
    reevaluate their limited understanding
    of political free speech.

BTW, thanks for the link last week -that made you my favorite sexist pig

You overlook that they are reinforcing one another in their group very strongly by these tactics; rallying the troops against any outside objections or criticism gives them a thrill of social unity. The longer this goes on, the more their group will stray out into paranoid cuckoo-land, without even realizing how crazy they are becoming.

    Very cult-like.

LOL, I love your “because” jabs!! Just love it. So to the point, exposing so elegantly the close-mindedness involved with only the stroke of two words.

Clearly you have not yet understood that you should bow to how Alcid thinks, because homosexual.
