Emerging Awareness Update
Posted on | December 8, 2014 | 93 Comments
In last year’s Windsor decision, the Supreme Court decided that its own “Emerging Awareness” Doctrine made sodomy the lawful equivalent of holy matrimony. Those of us who criticized that decision were ridiculed as alarmists for warning that Justice Anthony Kennedy’s decree would have bad consequences. Am I the only one who has noticed that the news has gotten increasingly weird since then?
A 54-year-old Massachusetts man has been arrested and charged for impregnating a 12-year-old girl . . .
Elbert Richardson, of Brockton, MA, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault on a child under 14. . . .
The victim . . . went to the hospital in need of medical attention and it was there she discovered that she was eight months pregnant. Authorities say that she was unaware of her pregnancy prior to the hospital visit. The girl was reportedly raped in April, and after learning that she was 32 weeks pregnant she told police that Richardson was the father. . . .
When word spread that the victim was pregnant, Richardson’s wife told the witness that a “13-year-old boy down the street” impregnated her
Richardson’s wife has defended her husband, saying that the allegations are false and that she has never witnessed him sexually abusing anyone. . . .
“We’re going to get DNA and the DNA is going to decide whether this young lady is telling the truth or whether the defendant is telling the truth. It’s one of those situations that does have a very permanent resolution to it,” Judge Ronald Moynahan said. “It’s not going to be a, ‘He said, she said’ once that DNA comes back.”
Elbert Richardson’s wife defended him because she believes in civil rights, you see. A child molester is presumed innocent until the DNA evidence proves he got the 12-year-old girl pregnant. It’s just like the way Hillary Clinton pretended to believe Bill Clinton’s claim that he didn’t have sex with Monica Lewinsky until the stain on Monica’s blue dress proved Bill and Hillary are both liars. Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania:
Necrophilia motivated a man to fatally shoot his stepdaughter last month, according to a Pennsylvania prosecutor.
Gregory Graf recorded himself sexually abusing the body of Jessica Padgett, Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said on Friday. The video was discovered a day earlier on Graf’s computer, the prosecutor said.
Padgett, 33, was last seen alive on Nov. 21, when she left work at a day care center. Graf was arrested five days later after police found her body buried behind a shed on the property where he lives with Padgett’s mother.
Graf, 53, is being held without bail on a homicide charge. The fencing company owner confessed to killing Padgett, a recently married mother of three, according to Morganelli. . . .
Morganelli said Graf will be charged with abuse of a corpse. . . .
(Which is still illegal, despite the Windsor ruling.)
‘He videotaped it,’ Morganelli told Philly.com.
‘So there’s a videotape of him abusing the corpse sexually.’
Morganelli said he believes that Graf took his stepdaughter’s life in order to abuse her as a corpse.
‘I believe it was a direct motive, in my opinion,’ Morganelli said, ‘and that’s what we’re going to be arguing.’
Because the alleged abuse occurred after Padgett was killed Morganelli will not be able to seek the death penalty.
Philly.com reports that under Pennsylvania law rape and murder allow prosecutors to pursue capital charges but sexual desecration of a corpse does not.
Liberals can thank the ACLU for saving Gregory Graf from the “cruel and unusual punishment” of the death penalty. Now, if only Justice Kennedy and the Supreme Court could do something to help our society end the ignorant prejudice of necrophobia . . .
Meanwhile, I’m waiting for feminists to blame these crimes on the patriarchy because, after all, both cases were heteronormative.
Dark sarcasm may be in poor taste, but it’s not illegal. Yet.

Scary part is, he actually believes his sophistry…

Yeah, the median age is about 16, which according to biology is the age when a human female is at her most fertile. It’s interesting how much human morality conflicts with human nature. I heard it said that because of this human consciousness is an evolutionary misstep that divides us from the world around us. Either wY, my point is made that men have been trying to impregnate and sleep with teenagers since the dawn of civilization, and long before political liberalism.

Well, it’s a question of compared to what? I was reading a social justice warrior site called Feminspire and one post is about how a black women won’t date white guys. I doubt if anyone is calling her a David Duke. The problem with the other side of this issue is they want everyone to do what they won’t. I can name a dozen mainstream non-whites only literary awards. How many whites-only can you name? Is there a white Miss America? Do as I say not as I do isn’t all that persuasive.

I think that’s a pretty accurate statement. Many boutique feminists parrot the bottom line but without knowing the origins or goals. That’s not surprising when you consider the intellect of Jessica Valenti, Brianna Wu, Amanda Marcotte and Laurie Penny.

Heck, in most times she probably wouldn’t even start her period until 16-18.

The 70s seemed to have a lot of songs that waxed poetically about statutory rape. I blame the Free Love movement of the 60s.

I might be her great-grandson.
December 9th, 2014 @ 2:13 am
Wrong.
Knocking up teenagers as young as 13 is a lot more common in places like Baltimore, D.C., Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago…….
And those young mothers are fa rmore likely to be with the so-called liberals since the Democrat party fills the trough at which they feed.
December 9th, 2014 @ 2:16 am
“…..since the dawn of civilization…”
That is very likely because of the much shorter life expectancies of those past ages.

Look, a brand-new troll account, by someone who’s incapable of the simple act of formatting text.
December 9th, 2014 @ 3:01 am
False statement, erroneous conclusion, paragraph brutally ripped out of context deliberately, false equivalence. Standard idiot leftist troll formula. Begone, fool.

Ecclesiastes 10:2. “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”
John 8:44. “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
I think the Ecclesiastes Scripture (written by Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived) speaks for itself, in terms of liberals.
The second Scripture was Jesus’ response to Jews who did not accept him as Messiah and God. The connection between leftism and secular Jews is clear, I’m afraid. But not just secular Jews. We all belong to one of two fathers: either our Father is Jehovah God or Satan. No third choice. As Rush said, “If you chosse not to decide, you still have made a choice.”
RKae is correct. Prophecy indicates that Satanism will ultimately prevail until Jesus returns to claim what is His. And ultimately, all knees will bow to Him. Satan will lose, Jesus will win. But before that day comes, Lucifer will give it his best shot.
Choose one of two sides. But the Creator will ultimately prevail.

And for pity’s sake, you’re named after Daniel, a major Old Testament prophet. Read him and learn about what is to come.
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:34 am
Christ, does everything split down party lines for you? And you’re actually trying to argue that marrying young, and teen pregnancy was not a feature of life in the Deep South? It was such a feature of southern culture that it’s a cliche at this point.
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:39 am
No, I said “sometimes” as young as 13. I would guess the average age would be 16-18 in earlier times due to life expectancy and pre-feminism when women were less educated, career oriented, and their primary function was family. Not arguing against the latter, either.
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:42 am
Real feminists hold signs like “Equal pay,”
While this is a bit more respectable than the alternative, it is also a blatant falsehood pushed by leftists. Accounting for the different career choices men and women tend to make, the “pay gap” virtually vanishes. Of course trying to explain this to a committed leftist is like trying to explain general relativity to my dog.
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:47 am
Just curious, did RSM ever say black people are too stupid to get a photo ID? Did RSM ever say that black people are essentially children that cannot be held morally accountable for their actions? Did RSM ever say that all black people look alike?
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:48 am
Homosexual “marriage” and interracial marriage are not remotely comparable. Trying to muddy the waters by claiming the two cases are the same is simple intellectual dishonesty.
December 9th, 2014 @ 5:51 am
Hey, why don’t you ask the people who are desperately defending Roman Polanski? Because, you know, that’s an actual real life example, not just vague, unsubstantiated stories from decades ago.
December 9th, 2014 @ 7:58 am
how about Jerry Lee Lewis? Loretta Lynn? And we’re all aware of what Polanski did. no need to keep going over it.
December 9th, 2014 @ 8:39 am
There’s a direct quote from a Southern Poverty Law Center project site about one of their wise social justice warriors “groaning” because “a white, cisgender, straight, able-bodied appearing, employed, college-educated, never-incarcerated young man” doesn’t understand his white privilege. I regard that as dehumanizing scapegoating hate speech. The site has the Orwellian title of “Teaching Tolerance.” That’s how my 14th Amendment rights get squirrel away by protesters who hold me responsible for every black murder at the hands of a white in America while calling me a racist if I point out that happens twice as much the other way round and I should be laying down on freeways with t-shirts that say “Dear Black People,I Want to Live”
December 9th, 2014 @ 8:41 am
Gender feminism: the wise canaries in a coal mine for all of stupidly privileged mankind.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:23 am
Apparently there is, because many of his Hollywood comrades (Whoopi Goldberg, for instance) are still attempting to defend him and say it wasn’t so bad. Oh yeah, and also because, like I said, that’s an actual example of a specific person, not vague insinuations against an entire population.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:39 am
It’s obvious you have sucked up the agitprop of Morris Dees racist hate organization. I’ve known a good many people who were members of the league of The South. None are racists. Dees, and morons like yourself, are the people that are obsessed by race.
Not to put to fine a point on it, you are simply a hater. Period. Standard loon ball lefty.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:39 am
And taken out of context. Racist boy.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:40 am
He did it all during breaks in filming the series. Dr. Huxtable was a busy man.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:44 am
It was a feature of the deep north too. You’re obviously just a bit cloistered. What happened in rural areas of the south was also standard practice in the north.
December 9th, 2014 @ 10:53 am
Obligatory *downtwinkles*
December 9th, 2014 @ 11:49 am
They’re not vague insinuations otherwise it wouldn’t have become a trope. and your argument against you get marriage rates, and teen pregnancies is “RomanPolanski did it”? Funny tpo how the highest rates f teen pregnancy are red southern states, too.

Highest rates of teen pregnancy are Southern red states.

I suppose that’s the fault of liberal Californians?
December 9th, 2014 @ 11:51 am
and no it’s most common in southern red states.

They’re not vague insinuations otherwise it wouldn’t have become a trope.
So you’re saying all stereotypes are true? Well that’s an interesting topic there. I guess all gay men are absurdly promiscuous, huh? And all Mexicans are lazy layabouts? And all all Asians are good at math and hardworking?
It is absolutely hilarious the things idiots like you let slip sometimes.
December 9th, 2014 @ 3:13 pm
You forgot to mention negroes.
I mean we all know how those people are don’t we?
December 9th, 2014 @ 3:14 pm
Christ? I wouldn’t know his politics.
As for me……
You are the one who read a blog that mentioned specific acts in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and then commented about those types of practices being common in the “conservative south”.
And you ask me if everything split’s down party lines?
Troll’s troll huh Joe?

Northern blue states just have their teens get abortions.
December 11th, 2014 @ 9:33 am
The age gap was actually smaller, more like 3 or 5 years, historically speaking.
December 13th, 2014 @ 6:45 pm
No need to keep bring it up huh?
The Roman Polanski sex with a minor case came out in 1977.
The Jerry Lee Lewis marrying his 13 year-old cousin came out in 1958.
In one of those cases an argument could be made for love and marriage , despite the first cousin thing.
The other was just sex with a minor.
In any case, you talk about no need to keep bringing something up while bringing up a case that is nearly twenty years older.
So….
Not just a troll, a stupid troll..huh Joe?
