Rule 5 Sunday: World Patriarchy Day Edition

Sometimes it’s hard to think of a post title for these weekend linkagery posts, but other times one just seems to drop into your lap. Apparently not content with the existing Annoy A Feminist Week, or perhaps wanting to spread the love around (so to speak), Milo Yiannopoulos has declared his birthday, October 17, to be World Patriarchy Day, and included a helpful list of suggestions on how to help keep up the oppression feminists whinge about 24×7. Better a day late than not at all, I say, and I’m doing my part by posting Kate Upton as this week’s appetizer.

“Mmmm, patriarchy!”

Goodstuff kicks off this week with Priyanka Chopra from Quantico, followed by Ninety Miles from Tyranny with Morning Mistress, Hot Pick of the Late Night, and Vintage Girls with Guns. Animal Magnetism checks in with Rule 5 Friday and the Saturday Gingermageddon, while First Street Journal’s coverage of women in uniform continues this week with Americans.

EBL’s thundering herd this week included Ginger Rogers, Ivanka Trump, Dirty Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Huma Abedin.

Soylent Siberia returns after a week off with your morning coffee creamer, Monday Motivationer Topic Tropic, Tuesday Titillation Retro Awesome, Humpday Hawt Pygmalion, Retro Fursday Fantastic, T-GIF Friday Sleeping Bags, and Weekend Happy Hour.

Proof Positive’s Friday Night Babe is Kim Zolciak, his Vintage Babe is Frances Farmer, Sex in Advertising is covered by Jennifer Aniston, and of course, there’s the obligatory 49ers cheerleader. At Dustbury, it’s the long-awaited Zooeypalooza XXIII!

Thanks to everyone for their linkagery! Deadline to submit links to the Rule 5 Wombat mailbox for next week’s roundup is midnight on Saturday, October 24.

More classic comedy from the Gurdian.

“..Why I won’t date another ‘male feminist’

    Kate Iselin..”

Without googling her picture try and guess some of her attributes…

Heres the laugh out loud sadness of her dating life pursuing the ideal male feminist.

“..From the man who opened a text conversation with a photo of his naked chest and encouraged me to reciprocate in the name of the Free The Nipple movement, to the fellow who agonised over accepting a blowjob because, despite enjoying them, he found the act simply too degrading to let me perform; dating male feminists turned out to be one of the least empowering decisions I’ve ever made…”

Heres one of the more telling bits..

“..It’s not that I don’t think men can be feminists. There are several men in my life who have approached feminism with respect and considerate thought, who have used feminism to examine their own privilege and experiences within the world and have become better people for it…”

Note she doesnt suggest any sexual attraction to these perfect feminist men, nor does she say if they are involved with other people. I think its safe to assume CS Lewis had her all figured out decades ago

“In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.”
? C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

There is no “patriarchy,” there is only the truth that men take absurd risks women don’t tend to take, frequently when no one is looking on. In the middle on nowhere, in a small isolated valley in a Third World country, I once motorcycled across an unfinished bridge just because I wanted to see what was on the other side. Had to come back the same way and I knew that going in. What was the kicker? I used a series of concrete slabs laid end to end with sheer drop-offs on either side. There wasn’t even room to stop the bike and stay upright. A slight veer and it meant me and the bike plunging into the dry river bed below. There’s a reason women don’t make Jackass movies.

So even feminists despise girly men? Golly. Must be that enforced heterosexuality they keep complaining about.

The reason men do that is because biologically we’ve been wired to take the big risks to defend the women and children.

But don’t tell the feminists that – they think biology is a social construct.

Milo is like Van Helsing to the SJWs. Best of all, as a flamboyant gay guy, he’s an apostate in their ideology so his criticisms strike with triple force. Which would make him more like, oh I dunno, Blade then.

Sorry, I’m not much of a geek.
