True story: My Dad told me about a time when he was a lad in an all-boys Catholic school, and one of the penguins was trying to ferret out the perp of some kind of boyish mischief. She said, “Whoever did this better speak up, or else.” My Dad, who was not the guilty party (that time), quickly responded, “I didn’t do it!” The penguin said, “Guilty speaks first!” then beat the hell out of him with her weapon du jour.

Had to sell the McLaren, and several of my homes, furs and jewels. I’m down to my last seventeen pairs of Louboutin heels and my 24k bidet, for pity’s sake.

Been out of work (from my lucrative mathematician job) for 8+ months. But I just got a new job, and I start this coming Monday. It’s an awesome Christian company, and you have to be a Christian to work there, and they check you out to make sure you’re the real deal. They pray before meetings. They have chapel once a week. It’s a dream job for me. I can’t wait. Eight months, but the Lord provides.

*sigh* Not sure He’s gonna provide that McLaren, though. Maybe a heavenly McLaren someday, you know, a showroom-new Saintmobile. It’s gonna look like, and be tricked out like the Batmobile, and you’ll be hauling me and my bff’s around in *that*, carrying our bagloads full of pearls and gems and gold and stuff, back fom the Mall of Heaven. I’m pretty sure that’s the way that’s gonna work out.
