You Go, Nancy!

It takes a special kind of chutzpah to encourage people to do things that are not in their best interests. The Lonely Conservative points to the LiarSpeaker of the House, encouraging her doomed troops to go backing into their campaigns at high speed in a Ford Pinto with a full tank, singing the praises of the health care reform.

But at least even a lowly Pinto can have a righteous stereo system. Pondering the appropriate soundtrack for this self-immolation, this blog will suggest sounds of something swirling in the sinus of the Speaker. Feel free to substitute “HealthCare” for “Cocaine” in the following:

The Enterprising Paco updates us on

Donald Berwick as head of Medicare and Medicaid. Berwick is such an astoundingly bad choice that even the most arrogant president in U.S. history didn’t dare to turn him loose before a Senate confirmation hearing.

    The only issue I find with this post is that Clapton is immeasurably more talented – and socially relevant – than Obama.

    Just sayin’…

    Hey, they VOTED for the darned thing, why would they NOT run on it? Isn’t it the greatest thing since May Day Parades in Red Square? All they need to do is explain to their ignorant constituents how a plan which hasn’t worked out as advertised in any of its previous applications, and can only be shown to “cut the deficit” by including 10 years of revenues vs only 6 years of expenses, radically seizing control over 1/6 of the US economy, is a good thing for the country.

    Run, baby, run!

    ~~~~~~~
    LTB ~ Clapton would be a better President, too. At least, he could hardly be worse.
    Except in Nancy’s case it would be a BMW that runs on alfalfa sprouts (Marin County you know). No healthcare blow-ups there!
