I’m cheerfully sober, though I’ve had my share of embarrassments. Anorak has a gallery of shame that is work-place safe. My favorite:

Bottom line:

  • Stay below the legal limit for drunkenness.
  • Don’t become inebriated in unfamiliar locations.
  • If your ‘friends’ have a penchant for lunatic stunts, volunteer for duty driver. Also, find better friends.

    Anyone who passed out in college in public was open game for facial make up with a sharpie. If you managed to make it back to your room you found sanctuary. A gallery of shame.

    This is good advice, although it also applies to other drugs (hypothetically).

    I think you should include a desclaimer that none of your advice applies if a) Your in college, b) your a guy, c) your friends will call you a pussy if you don’t participate.

    Friend of mine started a website called notesforlater.com that lets your email yourself the web page your surfing on with one click on your bookmark bar.

    If you could mess around with it for 10 minutes and (if you think it is as cool as I do) link it that would be awesome. Also if in the same post your riff on why the Gift Economy idea is silly you get MAJOR bonus points, as my friend who programed it is a huge Gift Economy nut.
