I Am Bummed To Have Missed The Murray/Moran Debate

This opening speech is made of solid gold awesome. It is an honor to support Col. Patrick Murray a candidate that simply, calmly, honorably rocks like the new hotness:

And what might the old and tired opposition, “Gentleman” Jim Moran look like?

I get it. I know a lot of you are here because I earmark money,” Moran said. “I do a lot of earmarking, but I believe in the federal government and federal spending has allowed me to bring millions and millions of dollars to the district.

Hey, you know, Tenth Amendment be damned, eh, Jimmie? Now, granted, a lot of that is DoD earmarking, and you can make a distinction. Which, with $5, will buy you coffee in ‘flyover country’, you knob.

One of my neighbors went and said it was a goody. I am sorry that I missed it as well.

    Go Murray Go.

You know what I believe in, Jim Moran?

    Term Limits.

If we can’t get enactedc into federal code, I guess we’ll just have to vote the bums out.

Even big-hearted uber-patriotic earmarking enthusiasts like Jim Moran.

I was impressed with Patrick Murray after hearing him earlier this year at a meeting of the Reston Republican Club.

I wish Murray had mentioned the Constitution instead of “new ideas.” I’d be a lot more comfortable if he had. Can we assume that he intends to improve things by binding the hands of Congress with the Constitution? If so, I’m all for him. If he’s just another “throw out the old bums and bring in some new ones” advocate, I’ll hold my applause.

Has anyone seen any recent polling for VA-08? I haven’t seen any pundits list ours as one of the seats in play, but hopefully that’s because they don’t have enough data.
