FMJRA 2.0: A Winning Homestand

So after the wretchedness of the previous weeks, Senators fans were able to leave their agonizers at home in their recharging cradles as we swept the Orioles in a three-game series before going 1-2 against the Bravos. The most surprising thing about the week was Wilbur Wood coming off the DL and pitching eight strong innings, scattering seven hits and only giving up two runs before Steve Foucault came in to get his tenth save and lock down Wilbur’s second win. We’re still at the bottom of the Beta Division at 19-32, 3.5 games behind the A’s and 9 behind the Twins, and we’re hosting the Twins (27-22) before going to New York to take on the Daytraders (19-32).
