James Carville Brings The Funny

Carville at CNN says that the White House should panic, emphasis mine:

2. Indict people. There are certain people in American finance who haven’t been held responsible for utterly ruining the economic fabric of our country. Demand from the attorney general a clear status of the state of investigation concerning these extraordinary injustices imposed upon the American people. I know Attorney General Eric Holder is a close friend of yours, but if his explanations aren’t good, fire him too. Demand answers to why no one has been indicted.

Mr. President, people are livid. Tell people that you, too, are angry and sickened by the irresponsible actions on Wall Street that caused so much suffering. Do not accept excuses. Demand action now.

Carville writes as though this were some traditional political problem. As though BHO wasn’t well aware of what’s afoot. As though putting any pressure on Holder wouldn’t bring the Administration crashing down with a dull, rotten-wood thump. RTWT.

As if the financial institutions weren’t following exactly what the CRA, Fannie, and Freddie were telling them to do: Lend to every member of an official Government Victim Group with a pulse.

This reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from Monsters, Inc.  A scientist is being interviewed on the TV news, and says, “Now is the time…TO PANIC!”

It’s almost like the administration is trying to overwhelm us with awful scandals and news.  Because no one could possibly believe that anyone would do all of that, right?

He can’t indict those people – they’re his adminsistration’s economic team!

James Carville: “I realize that we are on the brink of a crazy person running our nation.”

When did Carville enter the race for the Democratic presidential nomination?

BHO is not that mentally agile. He’d have to give up his life-long, doctrinaire communism for something he’s despised all his life: America.

Carville has something else he needs to worry about: his President has twice, in public forums, opined that he wants to govern without Congress. That’s not bat sh*t crazy. That’s treason.

I took that to mean Carville thought Obama might actually lead or something.
