As a Notorious Homophobe, Of Course, I Don’t Do Broadway Show Tune Lyrics

It would be too gay to say, for example, that you’ve got to be carefully taught to swallow Democrat Party propaganda without question. Therefore I’m grateful to Gay Patriot for invoking a tune from My Fair Lady in discussing Obama’s recent “evolution”:

He’s like the guy who tells his beloved how much he loves her, tells her wants to get married, but refuses to buy a ring or set a date.

Obama is treating his gay constituents as if they’ve got no other choice than to accept his contemptuous treatment of them. This is how Republicans often treat social conservatives, incidentally, and so there is probably more genuine empathy than most political observers could imagine: Hey, disgruntled gay Democrats, we feel your pain.

Being honestly in disagreement about an issue among friends is much better than being betrayed by dishonest people who want to exploit “friendship” as a one-way street, where you are obligated to be nice to them, but they have no obligation to be nice in return. You’d have to be a masochist to enjoy such a relationship, and this is why some of the loudest critics of the Democratic Party are, like me, ex-Democrats who finally wised up to the scam: “Vote for us, and we’ll give you a few meaningless table scraps, while we feast on the wealth and power that your support have provided us.”

That kind of exploitation is what the Obama machine has down to a science, and it’s rather amusing to see someone like John Cook of Gawker spot the bovine excrement or Adam Serwer of Mother Jones finally get a clue: “He did not support the North Carolina amendment, but he’s not saying he will bring up a piece of federal legislation on gay marriage.”

Oh, how nice of you to notice!

Attention, disgruntled gay Democrats: If you’re OK with free markets and a strong national defense, you might as well vote Republican. All that anti-gay talk you hear from the GOP? It’s just insincere political pandering, anyway. Those of us conservatives who sincerely believe in traditional marriage (a) don’t “hate” you, despite what you’ve been told by your Democrat overlords, and (b) have only enough influence to be pandered to every once in a while. Also, when the craven swindlers at GOP HQ lose an election, we’re always the scapegoats.

Just ask Sarah Palin or Christine O’Donnell.

So if you’re a gay Democrat — or any other kind of Democrat — who’s tired of pretending to believe all that “we care about you” crap from your party’s leaders, feel free to reconsider your partisan loyalty. If you want to get screwed over by a bunch of greedy treacherous swine, the Republican Party will be happy to oblige you. and at least Republicans don’t claim to be screwing you over in the pursuit of social justice.

@rsmccain, there is nothing gay about TweetDeck. You’re confusing homo- and techno- in your phobias again.

To be fair, fiscal conservatives get the same treatment from Republicans.

And I’d extend RSM’s “we care about you” entreaty to all of the racial identity political prisoners in the Progressive Plantation.

Speaking of vicious, bigoted homophobes, Governor Sarah Palin has endorsed Teddy Cruz of Texas in the race against David Dewhurst.

    Not bad timing at all.

Yet another similarity between Romney and his “brother from another mother.” Except, of course, that ORomney is even less honest than Obama, and his followers likewise.

The “gay vote” is insignificant. The gay money? That’s where the action is. And if the GOP could get their greedy hands on it, it wouldn’t be too very long before gay rights would suddenly become a cause celebre’ amongst GOP elites, who would suddenly rediscover a new-found respect for Barry Goldwater.

But on the plus side, I don’t think they’d ever support gay adoption, or maybe even gay marriage. It would probably be limited to civil unions and civil liberties.

Then again, that might all depend on how many social conservatives would go stomping off in a huff.

But for the time being the gay community is solidly entrenched in the Democratic Party camp. The only question is which one is the bitch and which is the butch.

Why can’t a Obama be more like a Mitt?
    Mitt is so honest, so thoroughly square;
    Eternally noble, historically fair.
Who, when you win, will always give your back a pat.
Why can’t a Obama be like that?

I have no doubt he had girlfriends – whether to retain his legitimacy in Society at the time or because he thought he should try to be normal – but I also have no doubt that he was on the downlow.

In the part of Asian culture he was brought up in, the downlow is tolerated.  Young Poch-ee-stan-ee men are known for such behavior.

Also, men who crave power like to be serviced in sexual and non-sexual ways.  Alexander The Great may be an example, depending on which historians you find more credible.

The “Gay vote” is not insignificant because there are millions of people who vote gay even when their not.

Adobe, those people who “vote gay” even though they’re not homosexuals are going to vote for Obama anyway over a myriad of other issues. Nobody really gives a good shit about pole smokers other than pole smokers.

Well, I’ll take that back. A lot of evangelical Christians “love the sinner, hate the sin”. That’s about as good as it gets for your average poofter. Everybody else cares about them for the money they donate, or for the plum roles in movies they might give them.

Do you know anybody in their twenties?

  25. ThePaganTemple
    May 11th, 2012 @ 4:46 pm

People in their twenties are full blown hypocrites who don’t really like anybody that can’t do anything for them, or against them. And again, what twenty year old people will vote for Obama are voting on a hell of a lot more than just the gay issue.

Think about it. Suppose Obama came out strongly and firmly against not just gay marriage but gay rights in general, and Romney came out just the opposite, and campaigned openly and honestly in favor of gay marriage, gay adoption, and everything else they want.

But other than that, both candidates positions were the same on everything else.

How many non-homosexual twenty year olds would vote for Romney?

I don’t give a shit what they tell you, how they act, how many times you’ve seen them glad hand in public, etc., liberals are fucking hypocrites who don’t like anybody they can’t use.
