Is ‘Morally Repugnant Political Whores’ an Acceptable Synonym for ‘Democrats’?

Posted on | May 16, 2012 | 16 Comments

Apparently, Mike Huckabee doesn’t think so, because he’s asking Citizens United to pull a fundraising letter he “wrote” that used that phrase to describe Obama’s advisers.

Our First Gay President Who Ate a Dog is the target of a $25 million TV advertising campaign by a conservative super-PAC:

Isn’t it weird how that ad completely ignores all the wonderful economic progress Obama has made? All the jobs he “saved or created” through the most reckless deficit-spending spree in history?

Well, Huckie might want to get work somewhere after Fox, don’t wanna piss off the Dems.

Kind of insulting to whores anyway.

     Indeed.  Whores have their standards.

As low as they might be, that’s far better than any Democrat, who would have no standards were it not for double standards.

At least most whores deliver on their promises once you pay them.

Why don’t we compare politicians to some profession that deserves it, like lawyers or bankers?

“Whores” are not something mentioned in polite company. He’s a preacher. Makes sense to me. Whatever else I might disagree with him on (which would be an awful lot), I think he really means it about Jesus.

Morally Repugnant Political Whores is absolutely wrong. You simply can’t make MRPW a pronounceable word the way you can Perpetually Outraged Offended People.  Or Crying Loudly In Their Sleep. Think, man and come up with something we can remember and say.

Most whores have limits.  I do not think it is fair to whores to be compared to Democrats.

Cindy, that is probably the reason he is protesting this.  I can’t say I blame him.  I know lots of people who would be offended by the term in polite company.

I defer to the greater knowledge of whores asserted by others.

Me, I never visit Pandagon, not even for the articles.

It is possible that the percentage of honest and competent whores is higher than that of plumbers and much higher than that of lawyers.  And enormously higher than that of professors.

    P. J. O’Rourke’s grandmother wouldn’t even say the word “Democrat” if there were children in the room. She’d call them “bastards” instead.
