“Down the hill, attendees at the World Economic Forum in Davos think they are the movers and the shakers. You have moved above them. Some appear to shake. I begin.”

Of the remaining nine lives beside the speaker, there was no fight left. Perhaps this meeting had had the effect of doing to the audience what Progressivism has done to society since, in the late 1800s, the undying evil cult that hates human freedom and self-governance had concocted the Progressive project to roll back all of the good done in the American Revolution.
The business of crushing the human spirit had been so much easier under absolute monarchy. Deriving a ruse like Progress, and perverting the intellectuals with the Utopian opiate of Marxism had proven a sickeningly easy vehicle for destroying Western culture.
The remaining members of the audience looked at the severed trophy decorating the table and knew that it referred to, accused, and ultimately hated them all. Distant muffled screams were audible. The speaker was moving toward a conclusion.

“Some of you look concerned. The means, as with sausage production, are indeed messy. You want a clean Newtonian view of society, and I have shocked you with the existential tragedy of quantum realpolitik.
The more idealistic among you, casting back your minds, may have misgivings about certain events. Shake it off.
We move past all of the aforementioned heat and strain required to smelt the metal of society.

We shall contrive to prove that we are benefactors who have restored to the rent and mangled Earth the true good and also freedom of the person, and therewith we shall enable it to be enjoyed in peace and quiet, with proper dignity of relations, on the condition, of course, of strict observance of all the laws established by us.
We shall make plain therewith that freedom does not consist in dissipation and in the right of unbridled license any more than the dignity and force of a man do not consist in the right for everyone to promulgate destructive principles in the nature of freedom of conscience, equality and the like,
that freedom of the person in no wise consists in the right to agitate oneself and others by abominable speeches before disorderly mobs,
and that true freedom consists in the inviolability of the person who honorably and strictly observes all the laws of life in common…
