Cousin John Suddenly Decides to Get in Touch With His Inner Tom Tancredo

Posted on | March 30, 2010 | 49 Comments

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — This probably has nothing to do with me showing up in Arizona, but still I question the timing:

[John] McCain asked the Obama administration Monday to send National Guard troops to the border after a prominent Arizona rancher was found shot to death on his own property.
“I am asking you and the administration to immediately reconsider your position and send National Guard troops to our southern border region,” McCain wrote in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. . . .
McCain supported comprehensive immigration reform during the Bush years — legislation that would have provided a path to citizenship for the more than 10 million immigrants currently living illegally in the U.S.  . . .

Hmmm. Wonder why the Maverick suddenly got this Pat Buchanan impulse?

The position angered many on the right, but it’s a position he’s backed away from in the face a stiff primary challenge from former Rep. J.D. Hayworth. Hayworth, a darling of tea party activists, has repeatedly attacked McCain as wrong on immigration.

Yeah, and we know that John McCain is sincere about his newfound border-security concerns, right? All that stuff a few years ago calling his critics hatemongering xenophobes — just kiddin’ guys, hahaha.

And all the Republicans can talk about is an expense account from a RNC staffer that got kicked back and he end up not getting reimbursed…maybe the party of “Adults” should be paying attention to something that actually effects and matters to Americans with 216 days till election day?

    http://breakingnews.gaeatimes.com/2010/03/14/3-with-ties-to-us-consulate-killed-in-mexican-border-city-including-couple-with-baby-in-car-15629/

And just recently an Arizona Rancher. Maybe just maybe the Republicans would like to address a serious issue that actually effects American citizens? Maybe they want to put the RNC Chairman’s Scolding on hold, and get back to the Chairman’s expense account later. Politically their base want the borders, and ports secured. John McCain wants the National Guard sent to the southern border……we know the virtual fence isn’t stopping anyone.

I am an Independent Voter am I the only one who thinks the pissing contest with Tucker Carlson and Conservative Scolds over Michael Steele’s expense account is counter productive?

Someone tell Tucker Carlson you don’t change horses in the middle of the stream. 216 Days out and Tucker Carlson starts shooting into the tent?

    I, too, question the timing.

Your Cousin J-MaC had worn it out. It’s time for him to go home and rest on his well deserved Laurels from his Military career.

As a Politician, he’s the Democrat Party’s favorite Republican, and has been for a good while. Trying to change his stripes at this late date won’t work, I don’t think!

    Go, Hayworth!

This whole thing is counter productive. I don’t get calling The Daily Caller a failure a smart thing to do. I read the site everyday and it’s very informative, if they are lying about something then that’s different than not liking the person/piece on the site. As for John McCain all I can say is The McCain Amendment. You can find a great article about it at The National Review online. What Obama is doing to this country will take generations to repair, knock off the petty stuff already.

    As predictable as gravity.

John will go right to beat Hayworth in the primary. If he manages that he will go left to deal with the Democrat’s nominee.

I think he will beat Hayworth. But not the Democrat. Republicans are fairly strong in AZ but not strong enough to win automatically.

So John needs the very conservative. And he w will never see those votes again.

In case anyone would like to actually do something, find a smart *lawyer* to “cross-examine” McCain about this guy who was an advisor to his previous campaign:

    http://24ahead.com/s/juan-hernandez

(Note: he might not be an advisor to the current campaign but he still works for an Institute linked to McCain. Anything that’s asked has to rule out McCain using the current or former status of the relationship as a dodge but must be based on the fact that he was someone that McCain used as an advisor. It’s also important to find a lawyer and not someone who isn’t experienced with “cross-examining” people.)

For extra credit, in case anyone would like to actually do something, Steele is having a meeting tomorrow and it has nothing to do with strip clubs. Write him and tell him what you want him to do:

My heartfelt sympathy to the Krentz family. The loss of their loved one and their dog is a tragedy. Perhaps it is time the family sues the state of AZ and the U.S. government. As I recall, Mrs. Krentz asked Congress for protection years ago. As far as McCain goes; he and Palin’s promotion of AMNESTY and going along with the President’s agenda speaks volumes about their progressiveness. Hopefully, McCain will not be an AZ senator much longer. As KFYI listeners eloquently say – he has “blood on his hands”. I am so very sorry for this family – another American murdered by an illegal alien. My prayers are with you Mrs. Krentz and family. Perhaps Mr. Hayworth is against AMNESTY. Let’s support him.

Hayworth couldn’t even hold his House district, surely more “red” than the state as a whole, but people think he could win statewide? Right.

How will you feel when the Democrats air a radio collage of his Birther remarks on radio – or when he inevitably says something ridiculous on his own?

Why does the circular firing squad always aim inward?
