Eight Savory Syllables

The stylish WyBlog:

I don’t usually talk politics with strangers. But for Google? Why not “tweak” them a little!

So I look into her camera all serious and say, “I know what will make me happy. The first time I hear 3 simple words, probably the greatest three words ever to be uttered by man.”

Now everybody is looking at me. “What 3 words?” someone asks. Very slowly I say,

It’s too good to thug. You’ll have to read the whole enchilada.

That was hysterical, Smitty! Oh, gosh, I wish I was there. Would have been fun to follow the lady out the door and say, “Would you have preferred “Dictator For Life?”

    Heh.

Reminds of Ronald Reagan’s great campaign line from 1980 – it always brought the crowds to their feet with thunderous cheering, and still warms the cockles of my heart today:

“Recession is when your neighbor loses his job.

“Depression is when you lose yours.

“Recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his!”
