Please examine what Dan does to Conor Friedersdorf in this Human Events column and pay especial attention to this:

More troubling and misguided, if not dangerous, are his tactics. Mislabeled as conservative, he repeatedly attacks and tries to undermine the right.
Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit is a temperate, meticulously accurate libertarian. Evidently, even he is too aligned with the right to escape attack from Friedersdorf. And that wasn’t his only attack on Reynolds.

Excuse my Victorian tone, but this simply isn’t done, Conor. And it wasn’t until I saw Dan’s column that I learned of this gross breach of blogsopheric protocol. It’s one thing for a blogger to take a whack at politicians or talk-radio hosts or Fox News personalities – you merely alienate their admirers – but dissing Instapundit?

To quote Andrew Sullivan: “Words fail.”
