So the Democrats sucked. But not just plain old, usual politician sucked, but epic levels of suck where it’s hard to find an analogue in human history that conveys the same level of suckitude. It was sheer incompetence plus arrogance — and those things do not complement each other well. We’re talking sucking that distorts time and space like a black hole.

It’s Godzilla-smashing-through-a-city level of suck — but a really patronizing Godzilla who says you’re just too stupid and hateful to see all the buildings he’s saved or created as he smashes everything apart.

Now, if the Dems are Godzilla, does that make all these RINOs a pack of Godzookies?
These are the kinds of things I ponder late at night when I really should be after beauty sleep.

    Even the suckitude of GWB was nothing compared to the current levels of Mega-Hooverism that the Democraps are exhibiting.

    We can deal with Republican suckitude in the 2012 primaries. For right now, we just need to get the Neutron Star of suck out of the picture. (I’d have used the term for a fully collapsed gravitational singularity, but that’d probably be racist….IYKWIMAITYD.)

    Obama still has a chance to do the right thing for America. He could wait until the new Speaker is sworn in, shoot Biden right between the implants, grant himself a full pardon, and resign.

    Lets play this childish game while the whole country gets f***ed up.

    Oh, the hardcore lefty fringe has its violent cretins, to be sure, natty Earth Firsters to slavering PETA blood hurlers, eco-terrorists and freako off-grid cults, but those groups never claim to be a vital part of the Democratic Party. Liberalism does not depend on terrible education rates to survive.

    The GOP, on the other hand, sucks hard from the teat of ignorant extremism, splashes gleefully in the shallow mud puddles of Sarah Palin’s battered grammar, draws much of its power from the worst the human spectacle has to offer. Simply put, the modern Republican Party would not exist without its army of high school dropouts drunk on Rush Limbaugh and sexual dread. It’s not difficult to imagine “Burn a Quran Day” becoming a new Texas state
    holiday.

    After all, the Fred Phelps, the Glenn Becks, the Terry Jones of the world are but our basest natures made manifest, the bleakest, most paranoid, lazily ignorant parts of each and every one of us. Deny it at your peril. As Joseph Conrad once wrote, “the bitterest contradictions and the deadliest conflicts of the world are carried on in every individual breast capable of feeling and passion.” He should know.

    liril, my argument with the Copperhead party is simple: it wants to make slaves out of me and mine. Plantation, collective, that’s what Democrats are all about at the end of the day: having the “superior” own the “inferior”.
